  1. Nope. Arkansas has exceptions for a medical emergency of the mother. Try again.
  2. It's fascinating. Comedian makes off colour joke about a current event? Three days of the media clutching pearls and running for the nearest fainting couch. Sitting President of the United States calls half of Americans "garbage"? Lots of "Republicans pounce..." and "Republicans seize..." memes in the press, followed by thin excuses.
  3. Ah yes, b-b-but Trump! with no mention of Biden or his brutal and insensitive slur.
  4. ...and yet you still cannot name even one state with a total ban. Interesting.
  5. It is so typical. THe usual way these things are handled by the Democrats. 1. He didnt say it. 2. OK, he said it but it was out of context. 3. OK, the context was good but it was a gaffe. 4. OK, maybe not a gaffe, but he was reacting to something the Republicans said. 5. Well, maybe Republicans didnt say it 6.B-b-b-but Trump!! I think we are at stage 4 now.
  6. Yeah, but this was no gaffe- a gaffe is a slip of the tongue or calling someone the wrong name. This was clearly said in anger. So maybe Puerto Ricans are a bit miffed at Tony Hinchcliffe, but half of the voting public is miffed at being called "garbage". I guess he was trying to out-do Hilary and her famous "basket of deplorables" disaster.
  7. LOL! Listen to the audio. He knew exactly what he was saying. He is a bitter, angry old man. This is what he said; “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters... his, his demonisation of Latinos is unconscionable." Two separate thoughts. One about the supporters, one about his supposed demonisation of Latinos. It is perfectly clear.
  8. Yep, you got me there. I am a paid Putin mouthpiece. Whatever floats your boat and gives you the chance to evade the issue.
  9. Yes. Please tell me one. Restrictions, yes. Absolute bans, no.
  10. Actually, it is the opposite. The link listed states that limit abortion, and ALSO the cases in which abortions are permitted under the law. To repeat, NO state bans all abortions. EVERY state has exceptions. If you know better, give an example.
  11. In other words, no. Trump has long advocated for state control of abortion laws. And NO state have total bans. Even the Guttmacher Institute referenced earler shows every state has exceptions. Every state.
  12. You are joking. Someone on Biden's staff who has access to his X account tried to polish the turd, but it was too late. All anyone has to do is listen to the actual soundbite and it is obvious that Biden meant what he said, that Trump's followers are trash. Joe is probably having some ice cream and feeling smug about one-upping Trump. It reeks of desperation for Harris and her eager minions in the press to seize on one sentence out of an 8 hour long event and cry bitter tears over it.
  13. Jesus, what a joke that would have been. We would have had to listen to poor Michelle, multimillionaire and owner of 4 mansions in various cities, moaning and griping about how hard done by she is and how America has disappointed her again. I'd seriously consider moving if she had been the candidate.
  14. Yes, IF the procedure were banned. That is generally how laws work. Did he actually advocate a ban?
  15. Nice dodge. But there aren't. Every state in the country has exceptions, generally for the health/life of the mother if nothing else. There are no total bans.
  16. Most don't care about the woman's body. They DO care about the separate body that is growing inside of it. As for MYOB, you may not be very aware or experienced, but it does take a man AND a woman to start a pregnancy. So telling the man to butt out is dehumanizing and disempowering of one of the baby's parents.
  17. Hey, she was a cute little thing when she was young, did you see the beach shot? Not now though, looks like he dodged a bullet there. Not a news story or "gotcha" IMHO, just happy to see young Tim being a normal pussy hound like the rest of us who came to Asia in the 1980s.
  18. Nope, because the citizens of Ohio decided their own law. It is a tragic case for sure but also puts paid to yur claim that states have "abortion bans". Even Ohio does not have a ban, just a restriction based on how far along the pregnancy is. Care to try again and come up with a state that has a total abortion ban?
  19. Latest RCP aggregate is Trump up by 0.4% nationally, and 1.0% in the swing states, taking all of them but Michigan, where Harris leads by 0.5%
  20. He is. But at least he got some nasty when he was teaching in China, lo 30 plus years ago. Makes me like him better, shows he used to be normal.
  21. I believe all those states have certain exceptions. Alabama, for example, has exceptions if the mother's life or health are endangered, or if there are fatal problems with the fetus. Nowhere has a 100% ban.
  22. I don't believe the Republicans want a national abortion ban. Have any of the reddest states banned abortion yet? There are a few who do, but as a group or a national party, no. Check their platform.
  23. Trump has never advocated for a national ban. It is up to the states. It is not part of the Republican platform. Just fearmongering on the part of Democrats, like Michelle Obama beaking off about how women will become "collateral damage" if the Republicans win. Poor Michelle, America has disapponted her again...
  24. They do? Then why the hell did they go through such pains to get the Roe v Wade decision overturned, and the power given back to the states? You make no sense, man.
