How did it "not work" for you?
Turned off ad blocker, selected "Retirement", then selected various dates in the next 3 weeks. No available appointment shown for any of them. No error messages in browser console.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work. There's no appointment available for any date.

d) State pensions would fall under double taxation treaties
Very much depends upon the country. UK state pensions are not covered by the Thai-UK DTA. (Government pensions - those paid to former civil servants - however, are.)

QuoteMoney mule: A money mule is someone who receives and moves money that came from victims of fraud. Some money mules know they are assisting with criminal activity, but others are unaware that their actions are helping fraudsters.

โหล (in this sense) is a classifier. It is used after a noun. So, for example, แอปเปิ้ลโหล is "a dozen apples".
In a phrase such as "dozen times", "dozen" is acting as a noun, so can not be translated as โหล. (In Thai terms, "times" is the classifier here.)

In one of the newspapers today there's a picture with a subtitle "No test, no entry" and following text "A visitor to the Government Complex on Chaeng Wattana Road gets her nose swabbed for a Covid-10 test".
Do all visitors to Immigration there now need to get their nose violated? Or is it just for workers there?
And if the former, is it free?

For their small population of 4-5 million Denmark and Norway have a lot of firepower.
But then I guess they don't want to be the next countries annexed by Russia. If only Ukraine's military had a bit more oomph.

Too bad Taiwan cannot buy a squadron of F-35's. If this were to occur two things would be certain: 1) Beijing would have a coronary 2) Taiwan would have a fighting chance against the sheer numbers of ROC aircraft.
Or China would bring forward its plans to invade Taiwan before pilots could be trained to fly the 'planes.

No mention of Bocelli, how much he cost, how many people saw him perform, how many tourists he attracted into Thailand, and the effective cost per individual of bringing him to Thailand.

I do NOT intend to research this any further by clicking on the links to see what happens!
How about posting the links here? I'll happily follow them and report back. (I use Linux, not Microsoft Windows, so really am not at risk.)

Most unlikely. I suspect if you click on the link they'll ask you to transfer the supposed duty to their account. And the amount is so small than when you realise you've been scammed you'll do nothing about it. Multiply by thousands and you've got a nice little earner.

I have these posts because it always shows how many paedophiles are on our forum. ????
And I hate these posts because they show how many people are willing to condemn someone who is accused of being a paedophile before the evidence has been examined and had their day in court.
It would be far too easy for someone with a grudge to say Mr. or Mrs. X is a paedophile, and for police to provide fake evidence or testament, so unjustly ruining X's life.
In the case of the original alleged paedophile, he's already been blacklisted from Thailand, even though he and the evidence have been nowhere near a judge.- 1

In which country is Child abuse normal ?
In Afghanistan and Pakistan buggering young boys is normal. (I presume this passes as "child abuse" in your eyes.) They call it "bacha bazi" which translates as "boy play".

...sure, he will have the chance to give evidence.
However, he's already has already had his visa revoked and been blacklisted. The kangaroo court has decided he's guilty before there's even been a trial.

Who the heck invented these misleading terms?
I don't know, but I suspect it goes back at least several decades when the terms accurately described the pitch contours in standard (i.e. central region, well educated) Thai. The problem is that Thai pronunciation has moved on since then, but the terms haven't changed.

Now that countries are starting to roll out a 4th jab, anyone know what the recommended period between the first booster and second one is? (Google hasn't helped me.)

Fixed bank name
Not true. Krung Thai transferred my maturing account to my savings account a few years ago. As a result Immigration decided to cancel my Investment Visa.
