Your words seem familiar. Are you guy that had a few holidays here and asked about work without a degree? Under a new name now obviously but if that was you. You took a lit of crap of the forum on that post. Hope you get better.
that was me, but didn't change my name. thanks

25 and fed up with life....., this will pass, life is what you make of it, you mentioned you are working, so at least you have a bit of money, save up for a nice holiday, or save up for something you like to do...
Thailand is not for the homeless, you won't get any sympathy or handouts here, Yes it's warmer , but it's like everywhere else , it costs money to live, and getting a job here is out of the question...
i suffered real bad depression many years ago, and leaned that the only help that really helped was Myself......
Life is beautiful, but has its ups and downs, ride out the storm, it will pass for sure...
25 your life is just starting so much things to do and see,
all the best, hope things work out...
yes I wouldn't come to Thailand to be homeless thinking its gonna be a lovely time, it will be horrible, unsafe, there may be some good days but its a bad idea, but death in Thailand is more appealing than in a place like the UK, how you die is up to the individual, some jump, some use knifes, some hang themselves ..
to be honest I will try and beat this problem of mine in 2017, supplements, eat a super healthy diet, see medical doctors etc.. but if I can't then I might just pack my bag and walk, just walk and see where life takes me, I'd rather die doing what I love (travel) in a beautiful warm place than do the usual balcony jump in a sleazy place like Pattaya

So what have the doctors prescribed for the condition?
I don't have any medication as nothing is coming up on the common types of tests, but I'll be getting more tests done in 2017 I'm sure

Sure it's not because your running out of cash? No family to save the day? Do they know about your health issue? Merry Christmas, chin up.
no, I am 25, currently in the UK, have a job here, but this health issue thing is effecting me mentally, been living with it since end of June and I'm fed up with life because of it, so I'm just having crazy thoughts at the moment.
-
yeah I was thinking about being homeless in Thailand, only because I'm going through some depression and suicide thoughts because of an health issue I'm going through
ok if anyone here was depressed and/or was having suicide thoughts, what would they do ?

According to this article there are many, and in Pattaya I've seen some.
The one story I personally know is of a Danish guy who came here, became broke and was sleeping in the Beach Road of Jomtien.
He would sleep in the beach and every morning and evening an old Thai lady would bring him food. Nobody ratted him and therefore he didn't go to jail
Now he has a job as a teacher and he's loving life.
Notably this old lady lent him 3000THB so he could buy some new clothes for his job and could afford to buy a bus ticket
yeah I know that but its an old article back in 2013, thought maybe things might have changed since then, or maybe its worst now
-
just curious as to whether there are actually homeless farangs in Thailand still ? or do they eventually get help from their embassy and go home ? or maybe they go to jail ?
if not then how do they eat ? where do they sleep ? I never saw any during my times in Thailand, so thought maybe the thai government sorted it all out

Found this on YouTube, it has nearly 3 and a half million views, worth a watch, makes you think ....

I got my Tinnitus back in August this year after a dodgy healing massage around the neck, kind of like a chiropractic massage Vietnam style, 20 minutes after the 12th day of getting this massage in Hoi An I got a high pitched whistle in my left ear, now I have neck pain, upper back pain, so my Tinnitus is nerve related coming from my neck, if I over use or over stretch my neck I get a temporary increase in my Tinnitus volume.

here in England all my male co workers moan about their girlfriends, hardly say anything good about their relationships, just bad negative things to say most of the time, only when they get sex they are happy about their relationship.
I don't think all Thai women are like this, but I think relationships are tough these days, maybe its best to stay single, guess it depends on the type of person you are.
-
I wonder if there's a lot of Tinnitus sufferer's in Thailand because of the loud noises and music, loud night clubs ..

Whats wrong with education and schools in Thailand ?????
he said the main reason for coming back to the UK was to find a better school for his son,
-
Whats wrong with education and schools in Thailand ? I would of thought the kids in the schools in Thailand would be more respectful and well behaved compared to kids in the UK.
he's getting a free school meal, but is it healthy ? I'm guessing thai school food is rice, vegetables, herbs and meat, here in the UK its like junk food, pizza and burgers, but I could be wrong, hope it goes well for your family.

I'm only 25, I have to wait a long time before I retire, and god knows what the world will be like when I'm in my 60s or 70s, with all this global warming and wars happening, animal agriculture killing the planet, no fish in the oceans by 2050...I'd say you might be lucky to be old expats living in Thailand...I'm slightly jealous of all you expats, the ones that are happy and healthy that is..

A plan shoud be to save up some money by the end the end of May ,come over for the 3 months and look around. You can apply for a single entry tourist visa good for 60 days and then extend it at immigration for an additional 30 days. You need at minimum a TEFL course which will show you how to instruct an English class. You could also teach at a language school without a University degree salary without a degree would be 25,000--30,000 baht a month (estimate) You say you don't have much to offer girls back in UK but what do you think you have to offer the 21 yo Thai Uni girl who after communicating with you for awhile online now is so madly in love with you that she wants to marry you? You don't have a high paying job even in UK so what she is after is a way out of Thailand where she can meet a real wage earner or find a good paying job for herself overseas.
And about the facial hair go around to Universites , high schools in Bangkok, Pattaya wherever and see if ANY of the teachers or professionals in Thai work places have beards. Thai consider persons like that unkempt and hippies you will not be treated well.
As for the Thai girl, we have met each other 2 times, we have kissed, and done some other things......it wasn't just us chatting online
-
I should say that I work at a University in the UK, doing KP work in the kitchen, when the students finish their year around end of May, our Uni Building turns into a hotel and in the summer we get groups of tour groups or foreigners stay at the building during the summer June to August, during this time I don't have to work, I can take 3 months off work and still get paid my monthly salary as I'm on a contract, around £750 a month, so maybe next summer I should go to Thailand for 3 months, and try to meet people and ask about work. If nothing happens I can come home to my job, but maybe 3 months is not long enough.

I think we've all seen the Documentary Torn Between Two Worlds, just from watching this I know its not easy to work in Thailand, with or without beard, fake degree's etc..

No uni degree, no problem - as long as you have loads of cash.
Surely you don't think gf's in Thailand come for free, do you?
sure I know I need money, never said I was going to just leave my job and go to Thailand and hope for the best, maybe save for a year, get around 10 grand or more, work hard, spend little, that would be my plan if I was very serious about living in Thailand with no degree

You do realise that you will need the special 'Ginger Visa' issued by the immigration authorities of Thailand?
maybe that's my advantage to finding a job in Thailand, hardly any gingers in Thailand and of course no thai is ginger naturally ...if thai companies need a ginger let me know

the same reason men think its more appealing to retire in thailand than the UK, warm weather, beaches, better culture, cheaper prices, nicer people, I'd rather spend my possibly final days in this world in a lovely warm 'paradise' like place than cold grey England
