When you get the cancer will stay here or go back?
gt162 replied to Chris Daley's topic in General Topics
If you have good health insurance at good hospital, stay and get treated. But if your have no health insurance and/or little money, better to go back to faranagland for treatment and get well and come back. Thailand is not a welfare country and cancer treatment costs are very expensive. -

China is having their own economic problems. Plus currently, they are having big respiratory disease outbreaks as well. So I don't expect to see them in large numbers for a while. -
High electric bill
gt162 replied to DonniePeverley's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
7000 baht is too much from what you described. Somebody is stealing your line or inflating the bill somehow. Check the owner, neighbor, etc. -
Have you tried mail-order online Lazada and Shopee companies. Not just for vitamins/minerals but many other things as well. Huge selections of other things you might need.

Cancel AIS 30 day recurring internet phone package
gt162 replied to bbi1's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
I also had weekly package that got deducted so I only kept minimal balance and once that runs out no more money is taken since I have no money in my account. Once I return, I add the money again for my duration. You can also add time for validity using MyAIS app with bonus credit they give you for refilling in your country using the wifi connection so you don't lose your account/number. -

Financial sector is mostly run by Chinese-Thais. They are born and raised in Thailand. This include the former PM Thaksin Shinawatra. He is half Chinese and half Thai. They also take Thai names to blend in with the Thais. -
