  1. I was very surprised to read that,"there was intention in her mind to kill that is a criminal offence."

Let he who is without blame cast the first stone.

    ...without 'sin'..and applies to adultery.

She will be treated as if she is a Principal Offender under the Criminal Code..she also aided and abetted the crime...possibly the instigator..all will come out in the trial...or course 'intent' whether expressed or implied is a complex issue on its own.

  2. So what's the OP trying to say? That his wife is not very bright? I've taken many Thai ladies to the movies and they can always tell what's real and what's not. Well maybe once, Sherlock Holmes.

...they know what popcorn feels like in the dark.

  3. funny how Brits when they say "sausage" actually mean "sausage meat".

You poor Americans are always going to struggle to speak English properly. tongue.png

We've refined the language by removing unnecessary letters in words and words in sentences!

I just finished watching the World Snooker Championships. When you're watching Mark Selby make a fabulous shot, the announcer says " He just made an unbelievable pot, Mark Selby". Why is Mark Selby added on the end of the sentence as we are obviously looking at him not Humpty Dumpty. I am old and have a short memory but not that short.

Where I grew up sausage was sausage whether bulk or links. Certain sausage, kielbasa, andouille, chorizo, etc. came in links but the sausage sold at the butcher shop was in bulk unless it was some special sausage which was in links normally because it was smoked. I make sausage all of the time but don't bother to try to find skims to stuff as it tastes the same in bulk because I don't smoke it.

We've also refined eating habits. I would have been smacked if I ever tried to smash food on the back of a fork held in my left hand with a knife in the right. I was taught that a fork is designed with tongs to "stab" a piece of meat and is curved the way it is to "scoop" up other food and the knife is made for cutting and not to be used as a blade to push food onto a fork. We also use "mugs" to drink coffee so we don't have to worry which way our "pinkys" are pointing.

Here I just use a big soup spoon for everything!

...shovel it in...time to relax table etiquette...enjoy all your food more

  4. Doesn't like Mad Dog's? I can't imagine whygigglem.gif . Club Cafe on Nimman Soi 7...2 blocks north of Beer Republic..has Tiger draft...They promo the bottles at 3 for 200 large....but if you insist...I think 170 thb for 1 liter "jug," and they do sell quite a bit of it, and it's their only tap..so little risk of getting flat, old, etc.. The bottles are colder than most places, but since most will hand you a warm one, and expect you to put ice in it, that's not saying much, but since I've spent at least an hour explaining to them that I want it cold or the tip will be zero; they will know what you are talking about. Paid parking across the street, in case you are one of the many, who have to drive to beer promos. Nice TVs there, too, and overall nice ambiance. I like the outside...music is just right. Bathrooms are clean.

..had a similar experience many years ago at Riverside Rest..ordered a jug (no beer towers then at that restaurant) and in no time it was warm..asked for some ice..waitress grabbed the jug and ran off..came back with ice in a plastic bag inside the jug keeping beer chilled and undiluted...worked well...wink.png

  5. It's not for a MooBaan. I hate MooBaans! You see various size tents all over Siam. Not sure where everyone is getting them.

...when you do find one please let me know..the only one I found was at HomePro CNX 3m x 4m for 8,000THB. (A 5m x 4m would be a better size).
