  1. yes KB is was well and truly 60...that explains it..thank you.
  2. well..you have to return so as to qualify for a start...the portability comes after that, in which case you are paid monthly.
  3. My Pink Alien ID Card issued in 2020, is a 'Lifetime Card'. Do I now presume this differs from one Province to another?
  4. very observant..i will Hotmail you an Elephant stamp. ????
  5. glass beads, mirrors, wobbly-head puppies will make a comeback.
  6. correct advise...also mark the location of the nearest Wat as Immigration and other agencies use this as a quick locater.
  7. A terrible way to die. Smoke inhalation. RIP.
  8. i think the poorly written article means the house owners will be compensated; the vehicle insurance maybe a different matter. IMHO.
  9. the RTP finally realizing there is no need to point any longer.
  10. Are they implying he left he scene? Regarding alcohol level in a persons body; alcohol leaves the body at the rate of 0.01% per hour. If a driver elects a blood test; then the reading is always higher than a Breathalyzer Machine. Of course, the main reason to do the despicable act of leaving the scene, throws the whole opportunity to analyse the driver into jeopardy. Poor and inaccurate reporting once again! RIP the couple and prayers for the child's recovery.
  11. why not confiscate the cars if it was soooo dangerous?
  12. maybe means Visa Exempt..unsure of China is one on the list!
  13. well friend, you are the one who is so incensed by this topic; best you do your own delving. ???? PS. there was a recent incident where a wallet/purse was planted, then the finder extorted for just this. From memory CCTV footage saved his ar5e.
  14. Obviously, no-one's ever spoken to you directly about any thing important; however, because you are a foreigner in Thailand finding a lost item, you would be advised not to interfere with it; take a pic of it as you found it, and hand it in. If you opened it and took steps to locate the owner (which is entirely up to you) you run the great risk of being accused with tampering or stealing contents. Why is this so difficult to grasp! Go and annoy someone else.
  15. I would strongly advise you didn't intefere with the item, but leave it as is and hand it in. Human curiosity is a strong temptation. I don't care whom you trust, nor your derogatory remarks. The Law in Thailand states you must hand in found property to your local police station within 3 days, over and out.
  16. I'm citing the relative law in Thailand. Not for me to judge or comment.
  17. You said it was 'good thinking' to look inside someone else's property, when it is none of your business but to hand it in. or just leave it where you found it if that is too confronting....as suggested, take a photo of it as is, where is; then hand it in...the RTP will trace the owner as that is their job...that's why!
  18. They should be charged and publicly humiliated...how dare they abuse their sacred position of trust.
  19. Royal Thai Police within 3 days of finding.
