If only they would make life easier for ALL long term residents here, it would attract the wealthy and professionals. In order to have anyone want to move here, they need to: -change property ownership rules to allow land ownership, even small plots -get rid of useless 90 day reporting -stop idiotic visa paperwork and evidence of foreign transfers for 800k, -dual pricing -health insurance requirements for the uninsurable capable of self insuring -keep stable government policies to allow investment in business or properties without high degrees of risk -treat foreigners the same as Thais are treated in foreign countries

The farms north of Pattaya in Chonburi feed them with chicken carcasses (see photo). 10,000 to 20,000 crocs in a farm. A dangerous job as many workers have been bitten. Once they get big enough, they are pulled from the ponds and them placed into the individual pens to fatten them up and get bigger. They can push off with their powerful tail, and the jaws can reach up higher than the 6' concrete walls. They look docile, but they are fast, and once my buddy was inches away from getting his face bit off while looking into a pen. He won't do that anymore.
