One thing to remember here is that Chatgpt is not connected to the internet. The version used on this forum is also old data and does not give the full responses. In my limited research into AI there are far better alternatives such as the Bing inbuilt version or Google's Bard, both those have up to date results and give far more information. For example here is the question I asked Bing and the returned reply that also comes with links although those are not formatted in my copy and paste below. "the case against climate change" The case against climate change is a controversial topic that has been debated by scientists, politicians, and activists for decades. There are different arguments and evidence that are used to support or refute the idea that human activities are causing global warming and its consequences. Here are some of the main points from both sides of the debate, based on the web search results I found: -For climate change: There is a conclusive body of evidence to support the existence of manmade climate change, based on observations, measurements, and computer models. The main arguments are: -The Earth’s temperature has risen rapidly and unprecedentedly in the past few decades, especially since the industrial revolution123. -he increase in temperature is correlated with the increase in greenhouse gas emissions, such as carbon dioxide and methane, from human activities such as burning fossil fuels123. -The chemical signature of the gases in the atmosphere shows that they are not all natural, but partly due to human influence12. -The natural factors that affect the climate, such as solar radiation and volcanic eruptions, cannot explain the observed warming without taking into account the human-induced greenhouse gases123. -The climate models that include both natural and anthropogenic factors fit well with the observed data, while those that exclude human influence do not123. -The impacts of climate change are already visible and harmful, such as melting ice caps, rising sea levels, extreme weather events, biodiversity loss, and human health risks123. Against climate change: There is no conclusive evidence to support the existence of manmade climate change, and the claims are based on exaggerated or flawed data and models. The main arguments are: -The Earth’s temperature has always fluctuated naturally over long periods of time, and the current warming is not unusual or unprecedented4. -The increase in greenhouse gas emissions is not the main cause of the warming, but rather a result of natural variations in the climate system4. -The chemical signature of the gases in the atmosphere is not reliable or accurate, and there are other sources of greenhouse gases besides human activities4. -The natural factors that affect the climate, such as solar radiation and volcanic eruptions, have a larger and more complex influence than human-induced greenhouse gases4. -The climate models that include human influence are biased or inaccurate, and do not account for all the uncertainties and feedbacks in the climate system4. -The impacts of climate change are not as severe or certain as claimed, and there are also benefits or opportunities from a warmer climate4. -As you can see, there are different perspectives and interpretations of the same data and phenomena. I hope this summary helps you understand some of the main arguments for and against climate change. If you want to learn more, you can check out the web search results I used to create this response. ????

Here we go, the cult loons are starting....................... Trump supporters post names and addresses of Georgia grand jurors online ATLANTA — The purported names and addresses of members of the grand jury that indicted Donald Trump and 18 of his co-defendants on state racketeering charges this week have been posted on a fringe website that often features violent rhetoric, NBC News has learned. NBC News is choosing not to name the website featuring the addresses to avoid further spreading the information. The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office declined to comment. District Attorney Fani Willis faced racist threats ahead of the return of the indictment, and additional security measures were put in place, with some employees being allowed to work from home. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/names-addresses-grand-jurors-georgia-trump-indictment-posted-online-rcna100239 'We Are Coming to Kill You': Woman Charged in Threat to Judge Chutkan Texas woman is facing federal charges, accused of leaving a threatening message to U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, the federal judge overseeing former President Donald Trump's January 6 case. According to court documents filed in the Southern District of Texas court, Abigail Jo Shry of Alvin, Texas, called Chutkan's chambers on the evening of August 5 and left "a threatening voicemail message." Federal investigators with the Department of Homeland Security said that Shry started her call by saying, "Hey you stupid slave," followed by a racial slur. During the call, investigators said, Shry "threatened to kill anyone who went after former President Trump." https://www.newsweek.com/we-are-coming-kill-you-woman-charged-threat-judge-chutkan-1820391 -

I think this is obvious to all of us apart from Trump and the cult Ex-Trump Attorney Says Trump's 'Irrefutable' Fraud Report Could Backfire Badly A former White House lawyer under Donald Trump says an “irrefutable report” of electoral fraud the former president said he’ll release on Monday may end up being used as evidence against him. “This is all Trump PR,” Ty Cobb told CNN’s Erin Burnett. “This is, you know, generating chaos. I mean, frankly, there’s a good chance that whatever document he produces ends up as evidence against him.” Cobb said the document could become “the basis for an obstruction count against the author because it’s likely to be fiction, and solely for the purpose of contaminating the jury pool.” https://sg.news.yahoo.com/ex-trump-attorney-says-trumps-130834803.html -

‘We lost!’: Russia admits defeat as Ukraine makes major gain in counter offensive push Russian forces defending a major flashpoint on the frontline have admitted a rare defeat as Ukrainian officials claimed their soldiers had “entrenched” themselves in the village. Urozhaine, near the Zaporizhzhia/Donetsk border, has been the site of heavy tank battles for weeks as Ukrainian forces looked to accelerate their counter offensive. The liberation of Urozhaine amounts to a major breakthrough for Ukraine as they look to proceed down the spine of the Russian fortifications to the Sea of Azov. https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1802734/Russia-defeat-Ukraine-counter-offensive -

`I think so........................... Trump stiffed his alleged co-conspirators, whose false claims brought in $250 million Several of former President Donald Trump's allies, including Rudy Giuliani, who are now facing criminal charges for helping him try to overturn the results of the 2020 election were never paid by the Trump political operation for work they did in late 2020. The failure to pay Giuliani and his team came up last week in a private interview between special counsel Jack Smith's team and Bernard Kerik, a Giuliani associate, according to an attorney for Kerik. Trump and his allies raised $250 million off false claims that were peddled nationwide by people including Giuliani and Kerik, the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot said. https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2023/08/15/trump-alleged-co-conspirators-never-got-paid-by-trump-team.html -

I bet the prosecution is frothing at the mouth to view his defense case, publicly aired....lol In the mean time I reckon they've still got plenty up their sleeves. Special counsel obtained Trump DMs despite ‘momentous’ bid by Twitter to delay, unsealed filings show Special counsel Jack Smith obtained an extraordinary array of data from Twitter about Donald Trump’s account — from direct messages to draft tweets to location data — newly unsealed court filings reveal. But it took a bruising battle with Twitter’s attorneys in January and February — punctuated by a blistering analysis by a federal judge, who wondered whether Elon Musk was attempting to “cozy up” to the former president by resisting the special counsel’s demands — before prosecutors got the goods. https://www.politico.com/news/2023/08/15/special-counsel-obtained-trump-twitter-howell-00111410 -

He's had plenty to say on the fires, he was on his way back after spending a couple of hours on the beach, riding his bike when a group of reporters who were meters away asked him. But then if you think he's a loser and idiot I guess you should also place that label on Trump who spent the weekend golfing when Hurricane Dorian landed. source -

Let the back stabbing commence.............. A former federal prosecutor explains why some of the 19 defendants in the Georgia indictment may not go to trial "It won't be 19 defendants, because what will start to happen is we'll see movement. People will plead out because they will be given good deals," she said. "People will flip and plead guilty and become cooperating witnesses. So people will start to get out of the case, we won't end up with 19." https://edition.cnn.com/politics/live-news/trump-indictment-georgia-fulton-county-08-15-23/h_125a9b4ca563b020d4cf07dfb84bd111 -

In the docs case the judge issued a protective order that would have stopped that sort of publication if it includes talk of any witnesses, or could taint the jury pools. -

Of course Trump had to make it political, he knew what was happening today with his indictments. At least he steered away from the pathetic conspiracy theories that have been circulating on twitter, oops, sorry X Hawaii wildfires prompt conspiracy theories about directed energy weapons Social media users are claiming lasers started the deadly wildfires that scorched a historic town in the US state of Hawaii in August 2023. Jared Kushner ‘crossed the line of ethics’ by taking $2B Saudi investment: Comer House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer acknowledged Thursday that he believes former President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, “crossed the line of ethics” by accepting a $2 billion investment from Saudi Arabia. The Kentucky Republican — who has been leading a congressional probe into President Biden’s role in first son Hunter Biden’s overseas influence-peddling operation — was responding to comments from former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who accused Kushner of “grifting.” https://nypost.com/2023/08/10/comer-says-jared-kushner-crossed-the-line-of-ethics-by-accepting-2-billion-saudi-investment/
