  1. As I said what is your point? Kremlin controlled civilian propaganda ministeries. How does that compare to last night's attack by Russia? Or the thousands of other war crimes in Ukraine by the Russians. Pathetic comparison
  2. As in my post, Russian government ministries. So what is your point exactly? A play on words if they were civilian? Were there any civilians killed such as in the Russian strike on the blood transfusion center last night that did have deaths? "photographs of the documents allegedly belonging to the Russian Ministry of Digital Development" With all the censored propaganda they spew out, a legitimate target in my opinion Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation
  3. 25 pages and that's all you've got, I bet you missed reading the full indictments too.......lol
  4. Actually its offices used by Russian government ministries, hit outside of working hours and no casualties, great strike eh The building that was hit is known as the "IQ quarter", which houses the ministry of economic development, the digital ministry and the ministry of industry and trade. https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/drones-target-moscow-high-rise-building-hit-2023-08-01/
  5. Sorry Donnie, no more delays with this Judge. You have to respond by Monday. Judge denies Trump legal team’s motion to extend deadline over protective order dispute in election subversion case A federal judge on Saturday denied a request from former President Donald Trump’s legal team for a deadline extension over the handling of evidence in the 2020 election subversion case. The decision from US District Judge Tanya Chutkan caps a flurry of activity in the case after special counsel Jack Smith’s team on Friday asked Chutkan to quickly set limits on what Trump’s team can do with the evidence that will be shared with them. Their request pointed to a post by Trump on Truth Social from earlier in the day to argue that the former president has a habit of speaking publicly about the details of the various legal proceedings he’s facing. https://edition.cnn.com/2023/08/04/politics/trump-truth-social-smith-evidence-2020/index.html
  6. Yet the Grand Jury is a constitutional requirement for this type of crime. You abide by the constitution right? Your claim that its all political is pure nonsense. Jack Smith has prosecuted both Republicans and Democrats before and “He knows how to do high-profile cases. He’s independent. He will not be influenced by anybody,” said Greg Andres, a former member of Mueller’s team. Your final spit the dummy point regarding the trial being held in Washington. Didn't see you complain with Trumps documents case in Florida by Judge Aileen Cannon
  7. It would leave only the hardcore cult members: EXCLUSIVE-About half of US Republicans could spurn Trump if he is convicted -Reuters/Ipsos poll About half of Republicans would not vote for Donald Trump if he were convicted of a felony, a sign of the severe risks his legal problems pose for his 2024 U.S. presidential bid, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll that closed on Thursday. https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/exclusive-about-half-of-us-republicans-could-spurn-trump-if-he-is-convicted-reuters-ipsos
  8. Yes its commonly used but not with these added reasons: All the proposed order seeks to prevent is the improper dissemination or use of discovery materials, including to the public. Such a restriction is particularly important in this case because the defendant has previously issued public statements on social media regarding witnesses, judges, attorneys, and others associated with legal matters pending against him. And in recent days, regarding this case, the defendant has issued multiple posts—either specifically or by implication—including the following, which the defendant posted just hours ago: If the defendant were to begin issuing public posts using details—or, for example, grand jury transcripts—obtained in discovery here, it could have a harmful chilling effect on witnesses or adversely affect the fair administration of justice in this case. https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/23898465/protectiveorder.pdf
  9. I agree, you really do need to read up The right needs to stop falsely claiming that the Nazis were socialists This argument is untrue. Although the Nazis did pursue a level of government intervention in the economy that would shock doctrinaire free marketeers, their “socialism” was at best a secondary element in their appeal. Indeed, most supporters of Nazism embraced the party precisely because they saw it as an enemy of and an alternative to the political left. A closer look at the connection between Nazism and socialism can help us better understand both ideologies in their historical contexts and their significance for contemporary politics. https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2020/02/05/right-needs-stop-falsely-claiming-that-nazis-were-socialists/
  10. Russia Is Attempting Genocide in Ukraine Other states have a legal and moral duty to stop Moscow. The fundamental objective of the Genocide Convention is prevention, as its title, the “Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide,” reflects, and as Article I expressly prescribes. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) determined in 2007 that a state’s responsibility to prevent genocide, and the concurrent duty to act, is activated the moment the state becomes aware, or should have become aware, of a serious risk that genocide may occur. This preventive obligation extends beyond a state’s territorial boundaries, applying wherever it might be able to act appropriately. https://foreignpolicy.com/2023/08/03/russia-ukraine-war-genocide-bucha-izium-icc-war-crimes/
  11. And here it is, you have free speech Trump but you also have to face the consequences for it, seeing as you can't keep your mouth shut and threaten people. Prosecutors ask judge to issue protective order after Trump post appearing to promise revenge The Justice Department on Friday asked a federal judge overseeing the criminal case against former President Donald Trump in Washington to step in after he released a post online that appeared to promise revenge on anyone who goes after him. Prosecutors asked U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan to issue a protective order in the case a day after Trump pleaded not guilty to charges of trying to overturn the results of his 2020 election loss and block the peaceful transition of power. The order — which is different from a so-called “gag order” — would limit what sensitive information Trump and his legal team could share publicly about the case brought by special counsel Jack Smith. https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/prosecutors-judge-issue-protective-order-after-trump-post-102037233 New: Special Counsel files proposed protective order in Trump 2020 election case, specifically referencing Trump’s post “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!” as having potentially chilling effects on witnesses https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/23898465/protectiveorder.pdf
  12. "Just waiting now for him to violate his release deal:" He just did according to some: Approximately 24 hours later, the ex-president posted the following to his Truth Social account: "IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I'M COMING AFTER YOU!" "This is the kind of thing that DOJ alerts the court to with respect to any defendant out on bail (in this case, in 3 criminal cases, and also is a threat in civil cases like E Jean Carroll)," former prosecutor Andrew Weissmann posted on X. "Not addressing this will only cause it to metastasize with undue deadly risks." https://www.newsweek.com/trumps-new-threat-crosses-line-ex-prosecutor-1817684
  13. "Discussing these matters here seems like a wasp nest! Still it doesnt legitimate Putins war crimes and actions against Ukraine! " Right so back to the matters in hand which is what this topic is about. Hopefully some good news breaking: Seismic measuring stations in Romania and Bulgaria have picked up 3 distinct explosions along the Crimean Bridge & https://twitter.com/visegrad24/status/1687585846445125632
  14. This is scary and disturbing that they have planned these abductions for this purpose. Child abductions’ are Russian plan to weaken Ukraine, says UK envoy Britain’s ambassador to Ukraine, Melinda Simmons, has characterised Russia’s alleged mass abduction of children from Ukraine as a deliberate strategy to sever ties between Ukraine and the “next generation that will defend the country”. Simmons told the Ukrainian news outlet ArmyInform that the alleged abductions were part of its “hybrid invasion” of the country. Children taken or kept by Russia were “subject to an extraordinary, relentless range of brainwashing”, Simmons said, which “creates a psychological barrier between the kids and their parents”. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/aug/01/russia-alleged-child-abductions-ukraine-defence-uk-ambassador
  15. Again there are 4 separate counts against Trump. Count 1, conspiracy to defraud the United States, up to 5 years, fine of $250,000 or both Count 2, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, up to 20 years, fine of $250,000 or both Count 3 is obstruction of an official proceeding, carries with it the same penalties as count 2. “Count 4 in the indictment is conspiracy against rights. If convicted of this charge, sir, you can face a term of imprisonment of not more than 10 years, a fine of not more than $250000 or both. Supervised released up to 3 years.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/08/03/trump-court-election-charges-arraignment/ Section 241 being used on the 4th count is there because: The Trump campaign targeted election results in Georgia’s Fulton County where it is 42% Black, Chatham County where it is 41% black, Michigan’s Wayne County, home of Detroit, a city with a population that is roughly 80 per cent Black. Wisconsin’s Milwaukee County, where the campaign demanded a recount and singled out a county with the largest population of Black voters in the state; roughly 70 per cent of the state’s Black. The campaign also sought to undermine results in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, where 43 per cent of the population is Black, and 15 per cent Hispanic or Latino. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/title-18-usc-section-241-indictment-trump-b2386168.html
  16. Have you read the indictments and the 4 separate counts? I suggest you do because only one is using section 241 which you are referring to and there is a very good reason for it.
  17. Gone off in their own little world and ignore the poll results. No surprises there.
  18. Literally nothing will change their minds, its truly a cult for the hardcore followers. Nobody can forget these remarks by their leader. "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" Trump remarked at a campaign stop at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. "It's, like, incredible." https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2016/01/23/464129029/donald-trump-i-could-shoot-somebody-and-i-wouldnt-lose-any-voters
  19. What's so funny? You should read exactly why they have used it. Shrewd move. Section 241 has also been used to prosecute a wider range of election subversion, including threatening or intimidating voters, impersonating voters, destroying ballots and preventing the official count of ballots. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/08/01/trump-indictment-civil-rights-law/ https://archive.ph/dgScM
  20. Transcript released about an hour ago, 141 pages long! Not read it so no idea. Transcript: https://oversight.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Devon-Archer-Transcript.pdf Documents referred to in transcript: https://oversight.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/DA-Exhibits.pdf READ: Devon Archer interview transcript released by House Oversight panel The House Oversight and Accountability Committee has released a transcript for its interview with Devon Archer, a former business associate of Hunter Biden. The 141-page document covers Archer’s hours-long interview Monday attended by Reps. 21. Here's an idea then, let Trump sell one of his own golf course so he can pay his legal fees rather than relying on his grassroot supporters to pay them.
  22. Well I was referring to these indictments but there's a little more on that in a new topic. "Some analysts have suggested that Mr Trump could try to pardon himself if he was convicted and then won the election." https://aseannow.com/topic/1302434-could-trump-go-to-prison-and-other-key-questions/
  23. Lets hope he gets that conviction first. If so from then on its all uncharted territory. One scenario is that he can still be president from jail, but if he is president he can technically also pardon himself so no need for Supreme court. Although I guess at some point they would be involved in some way. The other scenario is of course he does not get enough votes to win the election so I guess then yes it would eventually end up in Supreme Court?
  24. You keep stating that people should believe the article. I do, it seems you do not. They were not talking about business as has been clearly laid out in the article that you say should be believed. A quote from you above: Why did you come here if you don't believe what is in the article? What are you even doing?
  25. Not often I cite the New York Post but on this occasion: https://nypost.com/cover/august-2-2023/
