  1. So they couldn't make the famine stick, now down to claims of freezing babies. From no other than a doctor at Nasser Hospital where hostages themselves admit they were kept and the IDF found medications for them that was sent from their families but never given to them. Pathetic Hamas propaganda. https://www.timesofisrael.com/families-sent-medications-for-hostages-gazan-children-in-eu-aid-shipment-report/
  2. Indeed, fortunately not in the UK and another topic altogether. Regards Sharia, this says it all: "But this pressure from Sharia councils and the community they serve is causing suffering – Islamic rulings are not always in the interests of women and can run counter to British law." Telegraph https://archive.ph/WCvhJ We are fortunate to live in a democracy which enshrines the principle of equality before the law and is committed to the promotion of gender equality. However, there are increasing concerns that many women and girls in this country today are suffering from systematic religiously-sanctioned gender discrimination, with particular reference to the application of Sharia law operating as a parallel quasi-legal system. “There is evidence of women being ‘divorced’ under Sharia law and left in penury, wives who are forced to return to abusive relationships because Sharia councils say a husband has a right to ‘chastise’, and Sharia councils giving the testimony of a woman only half the weight of the testimony of a man” https://committees.parliament.uk/writtenevidence/68996/html/
  3. More off topic diversion Are other religions in the UK holding courts that also dish out abusive decisions for women and children?
  4. This is about Sharia Courts though, this is not about any other religions in the UK. Its about Sharia courts and the evidence of their abusive practices towards women and children that have no place in the UK. Abuse is not sensible or equitable. Ever!
  5. Correct, no legal authority but as the evidence shows, the consequences of their decisions can have extremely abusive repercussions especially for women and children. Whether legal or not. Absolutely no place for that in the UK.
  6. Like I said, read the posts with links already supplied in the topic for proof and stop the excuses
  7. Wait if it was the BBC confirming you'd say they were lying, whoever says anything against your narrative is lying. The fact is its from a credible source, you are not one of those
  8. You do indeed fail and your posts prove my points
  9. North Korean troops killed fighting Ukraine, says US Its not the BBC who verifies.........duh
  10. LOL Russian troll on the prowl at Christmas
  11. Silly antisemetic response
  12. Yet that's exactly what you were doing and now finding it amusing
  13. 'UK Courts do not legitimise abuse, nor does Sharia Law. I suggest you read the posts and links I've already added, you are wrong, very wrong
  14. Of course the issue is cultural......jeez That does not excuse the abuse in anyway.
  15. No lets not ignore it, lets stay on the topic. No law has been passed so back to reality.
  16. ?????????? its not about what gov is in place, its about Sharia laws. Another deflection from you on the serious abuses it can perpetrate. BBC 1’s Panorama on 8th April is an undercover investigation of Britain’s Sharia Councils. Publicity for the programme states that in it women claim that they have suffered domestic violence ignored by the councils. Campaigners say that it is time to tackle the parallel legal system which can run counter to British law.
  17. Proof..............as if needed
  18. lost the plot now Will, from a few days ago, Labour is in power if I remember rightly........ High Court fatwa ruling raises alarm over sharia courts in UK A sharia council’s religious ruling influenced a judge’s decision in a life-or-death case with critics saying this undermined secular democracy A British sharia council was given credibility by the High Court when a judge used one of its fatwas to decide a case. The Islamic Council, founded by the hardline preacher Haitham al-Haddad, issued a religious ruling forbidding a health trust from allowing a brain-damaged child to die. Secular campaigners said using fatwas in civil courts undermined liberal democracy. An investigation by The Times this week found that Britain is the western capital for sharia councils, also known as sharia courts. https://www.thetimes.com/uk/society/article/sharia-high-court-islamic-council-c7gh988s9
  19. There have been sharia courts in the UK since 1982, talk about deflection. This is not about which gov is in power, its about the abuses they could and still do authorize.............
  20. You could always start a topic on that, however I don't think it would include these extremely abusive practices. https://archive.christianconcern.com/our-concerns/islam/nine-year-old-british-girls-forced-to-marry-under-sharia
  21. He's also offering other options. Unlike the scum Hamas who actually did execute hostages with a bullet to the head.
  22. Tell that to the women who suffer at its hands because the courts legitimate the ruling. Nothing to do with normal domestic abuse the world over. What a sorry apologist you are
  23. Yes we all know that already. Why keep repeating it. The facts however are that it can and is used abusively. Especially to women and has no place in the UK.
  24. The biggest problem is the gender bias they display....which I imagine many on here would be more than happy with, as rulings invariably favour men.....so what's to complain about???? What you imagine however has no basis in reality though, so imagine away on your perception that many on here are more than happy.
