  1. Not read the article then, it is true
  2. Stop deflecting from the previous false claims you made and own up to them. Still waiting on this, none of your responses have addressed it and instead deflected with unassociated strawman nonsense. Then state better stop discussing it because mods would deem it bickering. Weak, very weak.
  3. Here we go again, blaming the messenger the Telegraph in this case No nonsense and stop making things up about what I suggest. Mum-of-three Rebecca, from Somerset, believes the new fees are "unfair", she said: "If they can guarantee my child will turn up at a state school and they will get the help they need, I have no problem. But they can't." https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0kjj40zrexo Heading for court… The policy may soon be tested as Sinclairslaw prepares to make a challenge at the High Court. The case involves a child refused an EHCP by the local authority. With no suitable state secondary school, her mother felt she had little choice but to fund an independent placement. It’s not clear if the parent appealed to the SEND Tribunal, as many others do. 98.3% who do, prevail in their appeal though it’s a long, hard road and not everyone can manage it. She claims it’s a violation of human rights, and it will be up to the courts to decide if it agrees. https://www.specialneedsjungle.com/children-send-deserve-better-pawns-vat-wars/ Alexis Quinn, whose daughter is autistic, said adding VAT at the standard rate of 20% to fees will force many children with special educational needs into "unsuitable placements" in the state sector. Ms Quinn has so far raised more than £72,000 to foot the cost of a legal challenge in the High Court. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwy7rgyljz4o
  4. Rubbish deflection. You made a blanket statement with no credible explanation of how. I gave you just one example that you missed. If the state sector had all the services needed for SENDS there would be no need for the Special Schools. Get things right. Special needs children not protected from private school VAT raid, says Bridget Phillipson “I know how desperately let down they feel by a system that isn’t delivering and I will deliver a better state sector for children to make sure that there is more specialist support within mainstream settings. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2024/10/27/special-needs-not-protected-labour-schools-vat-raid/ https://archive.ph/0KYmG You should probably start looking in the related topic, link at the bottom of the OP for more info.
  5. More of the same narrative that caused so much divide, doing their best to discredit a book on the subject and insisting it was zoonotic These authors wanted to push the COVID-19 lab-leak theory. Instead they exposed its weaknesses Yet if the authors were truly concerned with the origin of COVID-19, they would give proper due to the prevailing scientific judgment about it: that COVID was “zoonotic,” spilling over from infected animals to humans via natural contact the way most viruses known to science have reached humankind. https://archive.ph/mVXyw https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/books/story/2021-11-15/these-authors-wanted-to-promote-the-lab-leak-theory-of-covids-origin-instead-they-exposed-its-weaknesses
  6. Useless blanket statement. For one, there are special private schools that provide the needs for children that are not available in the state sector.
  7. That's a highly inflammatory claim, one that he denies and is attributed to a so called friend saying he witnessed it. Is this how far you go to discredit people, spread false info?
  8. Another example of the media pushing the its a conspiracy angle for anyone that doesn't believe the narrative. U.S. government debunks COVID lab-leak conspiracy theory, enraging conspiracy theorists The lab-leak conspiracists were certain that the report would validate their contentions, for which there has never been any valid scientific evidence. https://archive.ph/1EKe8 https://www.latimes.com/business/story/2023-06-26/u-s-government-debunks-covid-lab-leak-conspiracy-theory-enraging-conspiracy-theorists
  9. My pleasure, and yes I agree. There's lots in that timeline that can be referenced for both sides of the debate.
  10. The media of course is responsible for many of the arguments. Those that continue to dismiss one or other of the theories such as this prime example. The COVID lab leak claim isn’t just an attack on science, but a threat to public health https://www.latimes.com/business/story/2024-08-15/column-the-covid-lab-leak-claim-isnt-just-an-attack-on-science-but-a-threat-to-public-health
  11. It was just a lame attempt to blame the messenger WSJ. The same theme was published by Forbes back in Feb Timeline: How The Covid Lab Leak Origin Story Went From 'Conspiracy Theory' To Government Debate https://www.forbes.com/sites/marisadellatto/2023/02/26/timeline-how-the-covid-lab-leak-origin-story-went-from-conspiracy-theory-to-government-debate/ EDIT: Oh look below, another one blaming the messenger.........lol
  12. Well you would disagree, but they are the facts and you will not find any numbers on how many for a particular incident from Rule 14 that requires a full trial with evidence to determine. Again no splitting hairs here just correcting you on the false information you provided here: Not true as my post already stated simple1. It is possible.
  13. Again, I know what the article contents are:
  14. Exactly, anyone who takes the word of Hamas Health Authority at face value with no evidence to present other than hear say and then calls other people callous for not believing them is living in a Hamas propaganda bubble. Bit like that time they said 800 deaths including children in the Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza after an Israeli missile strike, they revised it down to 500, then the US and other European countries stepped in and revised it down to a couple of hundred at the most with some estimates at just 50. To top it all off, it was a Hamas rocket that misfired so their own terrorists did it. The death numbers put on official records did not of course reflect that fact, just more deaths to add no matter how or who killed them to the total.
  15. Its 100% relevant that its a Times article and a fairly good one at that. You give a link to a website that is not the Times but all it has on that page is a copied and pasted Times article. To question why I mentioned it is bizarre. Anyway, its not on topic so has no relevance.
  16. Whom? I believe facts. What a ridiculous question, do you really think I would believe the terrorists Hamas or Hamas supporting media? Back on topic this is about Fews having the wrong data on their latest famine report and as a result removing it from their website.
  17. Another one, fortunately survived. Man, 67, 'intentionally' burned in New York's Penn Station A man was burned inside Manhattan's Penn Station train terminal on Friday, just days after a woman was set ablaze inside a Brooklyn subway car. Metropolitan Transportation Authority police received a report of a man on fire at the transit hub just before 8pm, and when officers arrived on the scene, they found a 67-year-old man on fire near the entrance to the subway, according to the New York Daily News. He had burn injuries to both her legs and upper body, which a fire department spokesman told the New York Times were serious but not life threatening. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14231583/Man-intentionally-burned-New-York-Penn-Station.html
  18. So this is wrong? Pretty sure its 100% accurate
  19. Surrender and release all the hostages — including SEVEN AMERICANS — or meet the same fate as Sinwar and Nasrallah. There’s no turning back. https://x.com/RepBrianMast/status/1872744415233454254
  20. That site as you know has just copied an article from the Times from August and before the budget, not sure how relevant that is now over Reeves misleading the public over NI increases?
  21. What battles would those be? Discussing what he can fight for or not is off topic, the topic is not about discussing another member and what he can or cannot do, so I suggest that instead of talking for him you make your own on topic posts. In addition, please do not snip my posts out of context. Also against the rules.
  22. You made a claim that they deliberately kill civilians, you have no proof to that claim and it is perfectly legal for civilians to die in a strike based on International Law. This has been discussed numerous times in other topics. Your last claim is also totally wrong. You do not have to be a signatory to have an arrest warrant out, be arrested, face trial and if found guilty face a judgement.
  23. Ah so an ipsos poll is now fickle.............lol Must remember that. By the way there is always details behind data. Facts again are: He is showing the highest favorability among all prominent political figures.
  24. So not the highest unfavorable rating then fact, and also a fact, the highest favorability.
  25. They were rushing to get back to the Embassy and get some real drugs.......lol This from AP: 2018 Argentinian police seize nearly 400 kilos of cocaine from the Russian embassy in Buenos Aires
