Triggered by the closure so comes up with lies ‘Antisemitic liar’: FM blasts Irish president’s claim Israel wants to settle Egypt Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar called Ireland’s President Michael Higgins an “antisemitic liar” on Tuesday, not long after Israel announced the shuttering of its embassy in Dublin, citing “anti-Israel” policy. Sa’ar’s comments came after Higgins accused Israel of breaching Lebanon’s and Syria’s sovereignty and charged, without evidence, that Jerusalem was seeking to establish settlements in Egypt. https://www.timesofisrael.com/antisemitic-liar-fm-blasts-irish-presidents-claim-israel-wants-to-settle-egypt/ This is the biggest straw man argument and everyone should shoot it down immediately for being deeply dishonest. The government of Ireland is not just criticizing the policies of the Netanyahu government – and it’s a really cheap trick to pretend that this is what’s happening.

Your take is not the take of the article which slurs Israel, how misleading and dishonest of you. There has also been no indication of Israel selling or leasing it. Palestinian American businessman Faisel Saleh, who founded the museum, said turning the former Israeli embassy into a Palestinian museum would be “a political statement”. Responding to the news of the embassy closing in Ireland, Mr Saleh said: “Good riddance. Who wants to have the presence of a genocidal state in their country? Disgusting unsubstantiated statement from the Palestinian.

Yes, obviously................ Is this Britain’s worst council? The area where tenants live in squalor Lambeth has racked up debts approaching £1 billion and is accused of pursuing an ideological war on cars at the expense of the basic functions of local government "Bayo Dosunmu, the chief executive, and Nabeel Khan, director of climate and growth at Lambeth council, which was forced to suspend an LTN that caused gridlock on one of London’s main thoroughfares" A council that’s been failing vulnerable children and leaving social housing tenants to live in squalor has spent more than £25 million on climate and “active travel” initiatives since 2019, The Times can reveal. https://www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/article/lambeth-council-worst-britain-spending-finance-v8wdh0300 https://archive.ph/odMZz

Israel’s ambassador to Ireland or ex ambassador is probably more accurate statement. Israel’s decision to close its embassy in Dublin was not taken lightly but follows an accumulation of anti-Israel initiatives & rhetoric by Ireland, including: Ireland’s unconditional recognition of a Palestinian state which was welcomed by Hamas; its attempt to redefine ‘Genocide’ to support the unfounded allegations against Israel in the ICJ; its support for politically motivated cases against Israeli leaders at the ICC; its actions to promote anti-Israel measures within the EU and intentions to promote domestic legislation that discriminates against Israel. In addition we have seen concerns about the increasing atmosphere of hostility toward Israelis, Zionism, & in some cases the Jewish community being dismissed rather than addressed. While we do not believe the majority of Irish people are comfortable with this anti-Israeli atmosphere, the current discourse in Ireland, regrettably, does not appear to allow space for a wider variety of views and voices. There's an update on that, the US has put a figure of several hundred NK troops.... 'Several Hundred' N. Korea Casualties In Russia's Kursk: US Official North Korean forces have suffered "several hundred" casualties fighting against Ukrainian troops in Russia's Kursk region, a senior US military official said Tuesday. Pyongyang has sent thousands of troops to reinforce Russia's war effort, including to the Kursk border region, where Ukrainian forces seized territory earlier this year. "Several hundred casualties is our latest estimate that the DPRK has suffered," the official said on condition of anonymity, using an abbreviation for North Korea's official name. https://www.barrons.com/news/several-hundred-n-korea-casualties-in-russia-s-kursk-us-official-fd11258e

You must have been ducking, its gone straight over your head. Your example is one of showing just how badly managed it is. An ideological war on net zero while their residents suffer from one of the worst crime ridden boroughs in London and almost 1 billion in debts! "Financial transparency has also been an issue, as the council has not published audited accounts for the past two financial years"

Lambeth is one of the worst boroughs in London Debts of nearly £1 billion, massive staff salaries, the most dangerous borough for robbery some months in 2024, there's a huge list of the failures residents in Lambeth are suffering because of the sheer incompetence. Look what you class as an essential task, no they are not doing an excellent job. You really have missed the whole point of the article.

"Scrooge" supermarkets have been blasted after banning customers from banning Christmas desserts if they contain booze outside licensing hours. Scotland's draconian alcohol rules mean that alcoholic tipples cannot be purchased in shops before 10am in the morning and after 10pm at night. These regulations put the country at odds with the rest of the UK as booze can be bought at any time, and was brought in almost 20 years ago by the Labour/Lib Dem administration. The curfew means that anything drink containing alcohol cannot be sold in shops late at night or early in the morning. https://www.scottishdailyexpress.co.uk/news/politics/scrooge-shops-ban-sale-christmas-34322337
