Very powerful piece by Erin. After the ceasefire deal and the subsequent vile statement from the Hamas Chief negotiator in Qatar who stated how proud they were of the massacre and hostage taking they carried out on Oct 7th and how it is still their intention to wipe Israel from the face of the earth and commit further Oct 7th's. Where is the outrage? How is phase 2 of this deal ever going to be discussed with scum like this. Where is the ‘ceasefire now’ and ‘stop killing babies’ brigade? After all. If that happened it would be groundhog day, another war and more loss of life in Gaza. Where are you? The ‘ceasefire now’ and ‘stop killing babies’ brigade? They need you NOW?! Or are you… and were you always… frauds? Prove. Me. Wrong.

This is the confirmed list of 33 hostages that are going to be released over the next 6 weeks. One major problem for the relatives and family waiting is that Hamas have not stated who is alive or dead. So the emotional rollercoaster of the families must be horrendous. Are they waiting for a box of remains, are they waiting for someone severely injured and abused or............

Yep, exactly more tax's on the schools including SEND provision schools Legal claim against private school VAT hits High Court Families are seeking to take the government to the High Court over 20 per cent tax on private school fees, supported by the Independent Schools Council The impact of VAT on private school fees The families warn that the impact of the policy is already being felt “far and wide”. According to the claimants, children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) are facing “real uncertainty”. The ISC and the NASUWT teaching union have previously called for the government to undertake an impact assessment on the effects of the policy on the SEND system. https://www.tes.com/magazine/news/general/another-legal-challenge-made-to-vat-independent-schools-policy

There you go again. I more than understand its not attributed to only one element but a number of factors that all rolled up have contributed to Trump's or his teams influence. "But it's about much more than all that and this is where Trump played a critical role. Firstly, Trump's unpredictability should not be understated. What did he mean by "all hell will break loose" if the hostages were not released by the time of his inauguration? No one quite knew. It focused minds on all sides. An empty threat? Maybe or maybe not. That's Trump. The Qataris, the Egyptians, the Israelis, Hamas, the Iranians all wondered what it could mean for them."

Surge in Support for Mask Ban in New York Amid Rising Hate Incidents
Bkk Brian replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Happening Now: Domestic terrorists wearing Hamas headbands are standing outside the US Armed Forces Recruitment Center in NYC calling for a “global intifada.” We need to clamp down on the extremists before they act on a global intifada. -
Update on the deal: Negotiation teams officially sign hostage-release deal in Doha Israel, Hamas, US, and Qatar negotiation teams officially signed the hostage and Gaza cease-fire deal in Doha, after a 24-hour delay; PM's Office: Cabinet to convene on Friday to approve the deal, followed by a government meeting https://www.ynetnews.com/article/h1hnq08pkx#autoplay

The idea this initiative has only worked because Trump is coming in and Hamas are too scared to go against Trump is spurious at best, a downright lie at worst. Trying reading the topic it gives that idea. Then try reading the below article along with numerous others that include credit to Trump or his team that have worked with the Biden team in the last few weeks Gaza ceasefire deal: Biden won't give him the credit - but this agreement wouldn't have happened now without Trump The deal that's been agreed is pretty much the same as the one proposed by Biden back in May - but a lot has changed since then, including the imminent return of Trump to the White House. https://news.sky.com/story/gaza-ceasefire-deal-biden-wont-give-him-the-credit-but-this-agreement-wouldnt-have-happened-without-trump-13289693

Why do you support the exchange of hostages with prisoners, that is rewarding hostage taking, vile. That's exactly why Hamas took them to do that and you claim not to support them. Thank Hamas for holding up the deal.......as for both sides keeping to it, who broke the previous deal in November last year?

From Colonel Richard Justin Kemp CBE Hamas must be eradicated. If it isn’t, this Gaza ceasefire is a failure But while any hostages are retained in Gaza and while Hamas continues to represent a threat to its people, Israel can and should go back on the attack. For that they will have Trump’s backing. His nomination for National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz, told Fox News: “I’d like to make something very clear to the Israelis, if you need to go back in, we are with you. We are 100 per cent committed to destroying Hamas as a military organisation”. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/us/comment/2025/01/16/gaza-ceasefire-deal-bad-hamas-survives/ https://archive.ph/HUFWD

From Hamas's leader in the ceasefire talks: Al-Hayya, who serves as the deputy chairman of Hamas’s political bureau and the group’s chief negotiator in ceasefire and hostage talks, reiterated Hamas’s commitment to the destruction of Israel. He described Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque as central to their mission, stating, “Our people will expel the occupation from our land and from Jerusalem at the earliest time possible.” He also asserted, “Our enemy will never see a moment of weakness from us.” And you wonder why they need to be wiped out?
