  1. Wife has just caught Covid after being in Thailand for 4 days, never had it before in UK, another friend also caught covid whilst in Thailand. Seems it is rife over there at the moment
  2. Boosters for BA.4 and BA.5 are not available yet. Moderna have a new one coming out later in the year that targets all variants successfully

  7. It'll be better than the current Chinese vaccines so why not? It is a bit late to the show, but Covid is here to stay so it will find a place and be useful
  8. If anyone can find me a nice stretch of rocky coastline with no tourism I would be there in a flash, if not then all upcountry for me in the future. Cities are better for single people
  9. Of course I am guessing and I do not have as much experience diving as some others, but there are not many things in the sea which are openly very aggressive, so this is my best guess. 10. 2 years of pandemic and fish will have returned to the area, Titan Triggers nest on open sand in shallow water and they are very aggressive to anything that comes nearby
  11. we all know this is BS, but brake failure is still the drivers fault, failing to maintain your vehicle is your fault if something like this happens
  12. So just how long do your vaccinations last? 6 months? A year? Is there any conformation on any of this?
  13. The closest UCI calendar race is usually the Tour of Langkawi, not sure if Thailand has ever held an official UCI race
  14. I think keeping pass is sensible for now. Removing compulsory hotel booking has to be a good thing though
  15. Seems like movement at last. No PCR, no hotel booking needed from 1st May https://twitter.com/RichardBarrow/status/1517374085327896576?s=20&t=mqIF6HsRF1NhYpaR3L7j2Q Anyone know how to embed a twitter link, nothing seems to work
  16. 2-3 million is more realistic, but even that might not be reached.
  17. You would have to be very fit to climb over 6000m at 65. I don't think it's likely they will make it, or anywhere near really
  18. Amazing how many defective car/vehicle stories there are in Thailand
  19. It's called Korean boxwood I think (Buxus sinica insularis)
