  1. This only occurs on my right leg, very strange, I have some Crocodile Tail in the excuse for a garden, I'll cut some off tomorrow and apply to the red bits, all my problems will be solved ????

amexpat, I didn't need to be advised or told to do anything so don't be amazed, you would be surprised at the problems identified on here, as I said in my OP " I know it's a long shot but.........) Get it ? looking for anyone with previous experience, that's all.

Lots of heat and sweat in the tropics.  just go to pharma and ask for an anti-fungal cream?  May help.

I googled the cream in the above pic, I think that is similar, also Tea Tree Oil is known for its anti bacterial and fungal properties which why I'm using it.

Could be a parasite,  The top one looks a bit like a ring worm.  I suggest a hospital visit, quickly!   If it is parasite you need treatment asap. Others may have a batter take on it. You sure will not get any definitive diagnosis here.

Thanks for your comment Pilotman, as I said I did visit the local emergency clinic but the doc didn't really have much of a clue, I have had these red weals for maybe 18 months or more.

  4. A long shot I know but maybe someone has had this or knows someone who has, I have had this for a long long time now, no itching, not sore, no discomfort at all, it just doesn't look good and the Mrs has been hassling me to go to the Dr and get it looked at, so I went to the Dr, he scratched his head gave me some anti inflammatory tabs and a completely useless cream, I used the cream and took the tabs for five days with no discernible improvement, I am currently using a mixture of Tea Tree Oil & virgin Coconut oil to try and control it.

Any ideas people, thanks in advance.

  5. We're not married (yet) but we may as well be, we met at a party, we had mutual friends & got introduced, she used to sell live fish in various markets around town, her then BF was an ass who spent all the money on drink, drugs & gambling and instead of picking her up when the market closed would leave her till he was ready to go home.

In 2010 I told her to leave and find somewhere to live, I looked after her financially until I moved here in 2011, since then we have had a lot of fun and adventures, I need to slow down now but every day is a joy and she really does look after me every day, all that I have will be hers when I run out of life ????

It's been fun & I have had a blast, hopefully with much more to come ????

Sorry about the top of this post - not sure how to remove it.

What is the point of watching a video which has no plot, no surprises and no happy ending? The meeting was entirely pointless and produced nothing at all, as surely everyone expected. And the Thai authorities know us only as Aliens, not Foreigners. Just trying to adapt to the local lingo. Out of respect to them, you know????

I can't quite get my head around you commenting on something that you admit you have not seen but take individual comments from strangers as gospel !! Perhaps if you make some time in your obviously busy schedule and actually bother to watch it then you can comment with confidence, you can see the body language of the useless Thai immigration people. maybe even see the Thai woman address them (fairly angrily) in English & Thai and get a feel for the whole thing.

Your useless OP is tantamount to me dissing a new movie I haven't seen or a new music album or track I haven't listened, it's uninformed and useless.

  7. That's the problem here, it's either famine or feast, in some areas there has been no rain for months hence a drought, now it is tipping down in those drought affected areas and what happens ? The much needed H2O is just left to run away or flood vast areas with no hope of capture and storage for future use.

It's been happening since time immemorial

    Totally pathetic.

Workers were dispatched to dredge drainage pipes and clear away water hyacinths, while official were on an around-the-clock watch for flooding especially of the at-risk roads of Sri Ping Muang, Chang Klan and Suthep (near Ton Payom Market), he added.

So, they wait until the storm is literally on top of them and then clear drainage pipes and clear away water hyacinths !! Way to go guys, good forward planning skills :stoner:
