I use to go to this website for my current covid shot certification, but does not seem to be working:
co19cert.moph.go.th
Does anyone have a better website with our shot information?
Thanks!

Yes, that is what has stated at the various locations providing boosters--it indicates that they will provide a Moderna booster for those having received the 2 Pfizer doses, I have read that Moderna. when used as a booster, has a reduced amt of vaccine--while the Pfizer, when used as a booster, has the same amt of vaccine. And it was recommended that those getting the Moderna make certain one is getting the correct amt of vaccine for their booster--I am assuming, but cannot be sure, that Thailand is administering the Moderna boosters along those guidelines?
I received Moderna at Central Airport Plaza and asked them what dosage they use. She showed me the box and it said 50 micrograms. I think in some countries you can get a double booster of 100, but it seems that the booster I got was the regular dosage amount.

Theoretically your vaccination details have also been registered with the MoPH and can be viewed on the Mor Prom App....
From that App you can upload your passport detail etc and apply for an International Vaccine Certificate.
The App is also in English.
(unfortunately they can’t add vaccines administered overseas to the record).
I checked and the booster information is not listed. I’ll wait a few days.

I thought they just said AZ is better for omricon, wouldn't be a fan of mixing 3 experimental vaxxes but happy you are happy and hope you remain healthy. Not surprised it wasn't busy, most people do not want the booster at all.
Thank you. Actually in England they are recommending mRNA vaccines for boosters. I feel my Sinovac AZ Mix is similar to 2 shots of AZ, and would rather go mRNA as much as possible.
For the future, I’ll stay with Moderna if all possible.

Did they give you an additional vaccine certificate after the booster shot?
Did they ask for any prior vacc. cert. for the first two shots?
They gave me a QR code which brought me to a website with my 3 shots listed. However all in Thai.
The website is through nakornping hospital.
I have my previous two shots on my phone via co19cert, which looks to a government site. My 13 digit code was necessary. However they didn’t ask to see my passport.

Do you have any details of any other dates or locations please or how you found out about it!
I was aware of the facility at Airport Plaza and just went on an assumption. Worse case scenario was do a little shopping and have lunch.
Here are some locations from the past week, so I can’t be sure who is open now, except CA. ????
I was there before 11am, but saw no way inside….so the starting time may be mall times. 11am.
Locations
- Central Airport Dec. 20-24 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Nakorn Ping Hospital Dec. 20-24 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Suanprung Hospital Dec. 23-24 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Neurological Hospital Dec. 22-23 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Mother and Child Hospital Dec. 20-24 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Walk in today at Central Airport Plaza. 11am and a very short line on the 2nd Floor. Maybe 10 minutes before I got my shot.
Was assuming I would only be offered AZ , as I’m one of The Mix of Sinovac/AZ, but lo and behold, MY CHOICE of AZ, Pfizer or Moderna. (I went Moderna)
About 1pm went by again, and line was 15 people. Not crazy at all.
Thank u Thailand!

Those who got THE MIX of Sinovac-AstraZeneca are being offered another AZ as a booster.
YET, in England, Land of AZ, they are recommending an mRNA as booster. Same here in Thailand: two AZ are getting Pfizer as a booster.
So, are there concerns here? Why not a choice for The Mix?
What are your thoughts? Are we getting the proper booster based on Omicron?

Are you discussing trying to cheat a poverty stricken Thai guy out of 10 baht!?
I can’t speak for the author but there are other ways to look at these moments.
In tough times, don’t try and squeeze your customer for more baht. Do a good job at the advertised price. Sometimes it IS the principal.
(Once I was stuck in the cold rain waiting for a red truck. A 30 baht trip I’ve taken before. A red truck stopped and said 70 baht. We negotiated to 50. Not the nicest experience in CM.)

Food 4 Thought:
In England, land of AZ, they are suggesting mRNA vaccines for boosters.
I also had the Mix, and heard they may offer AZ as a booster.
With Omicron on the horizon, figure 1-2 months, seems I would rather get mRNA as a booster.

Was driving to CM immig today for extension and saw a couple of backpackers waiting at one of the bus stops--i doubled back to ask if waiting for those buses--they were....
I managed to get them in a red truck for same price after 1st driver wanted 50 bt each and i told him no way--as soon as I flagged another truck he changed his tune--- but fool me once!!! nope!!!!
Good job!
My favorite songthaew scam is no change. 30 baht ride, give them 40, no change, sorry.
Another reason why I love the buses and grab.

Maybe some day we can get electric buses in Chiang Mai and perhaps limit regular vehicle traffic in some areas.
Ideal but “some day” may be years away.
Although I once thought they should shut down the sois off Nimmenhaimen for a walking street experience.
Sidenote: saw an EV tuk tuk today. Progress! ????

The amount of motorcyclists during peak hours is terrible now, more people should use cheap public transport.
Plus there is something pleasant about hopping aboard a bus and not having to explain where you are going.
Also, The Bus is perfect for riding along and then just hopping off whenever the mood strikes. On the bus to Central Festival, which weaved through some neighborhoods, I would just hop out and take a stroll.

Didnt they stop running when Covid emerged and that's their reason for now currently not running ?
(Also, they wouldn't be an outcry from felangs if the price was increased)
That’s what I thought. But air travel can’t be much better for confined spaces.

Shame really as many locals took advantage as well.
Maybe CM City should subsidize?

So convenient for comfortable cheap travel!
From my hotel, one way to Central Airport or Central Festival, with myriad of places to stop along the way, all for 20 baht.
Plus a great vantage point for people watching along the way.
I’m surprised they aren’t running again. ????

Latest direction from the Chiangmai Ministry of Public Health Office:
Anyone who has been turned away from getting vaccinated, including a booster, should send an email to [email protected] explaining their situation.Thank you. I had the Sinovac AstraZeneca mix and now it’s been 3 months.
Would love to know if and when AZ may be available as a booster.

As I was walking this evening in Santitham, passing maybe 30 restaurants, and having really no clue what’s what since most everything is advertised in Thai, I had a thunderous marketing idea: FOOD TOUR GUIDE.
With a passing understanding of English (don’t get me started ????) the guide could charge 200 baht or more for a small tour of hidden food gems in one particular neighborhood (Santitham, Nimmenhaimen, Old City, etc). Maybe hit up 5 to 10 places.
Maybe the restaurants would have a small sampling?
Aside: I remember once a friend showed me this hole in the wall place in Santitham that had a kickass crispy pork and kale. I would have never found it myself. I still don’t know the name of the place, just where it is.
So….Take a small group around and make 1000-2000 baht. After the tour, send the participants an email with the list of restaurants visited, with info on delivery options, etc
Personally I would be happy to add some new cuisine to my weekly regulars and it would be worth my baht. ????

Probably because boosters are usually given 6 months after the AZ shot, so wait another 3 months.
That’s fine but I wish the “powers that be, that offered the Mix” would communicate with us.
The amount of feedback is scant.
I did overhear that boosters will be available next year for us but the source was questionable.

And yet not a peep on those who got Sinovac/AstraZeneca Mix at McCormick (now 3 months from last jab) and looking for a booster?
