Fair question... why does the government cap the price of a product produce by private enterprises.
They have supply costs and production/energy costs, all which have increased yet they are told they cannot pass these onto the consumer.
A 14 year price freeze already... unbelievable.
If the government are so worried about the effect on the poor consumer who usually buy noodles then why don't they keep the price the same on the shelf and subsidise 2 baht per pack to the producers, giving them 8 baht per pack?
Maybe shelve the F-35 deal and use that money ?
