    How about a nationwide gun amnesty... no questions asked, just drop them off at the station If after the amnesty you are in possession of an illegally held gun it's a mandatory 5 years in the pokey, no caveats for who you think you are.

    It started well before 8 years ago, but it's been a continued trend with each change in leader. And will continue to do so until a real leader gets in charge.

    But it is an underlying factor. Effective government equals a contented population Dysfunctional government, equals breakdown in society.
