    Interesting you say this. Just goes to show that Trump is not your typical Republican. The left went to the looney progressive woke left and Trump became more of a populist centrist getting the votes from all those opposed to the direction the Democratic Party took.

    Executive orders do not need approval from Congress as they are not legislation. How or if Trump achieves this we'll have to wait and see.

    Putin wants parts of Ukraine not all of it. Zelensky doesn't want him to have it. Militarily Ukraine cannot win. The position of power in any negotiations/bargaining lies with Putin. This is a fact.

    I had to quote myself for this because someone gave me the stupid thumbs down. These are the "alcohol sales" ban hours except for the "exceptions". Why would you (you know who you are) give a thumbs down for giving correct information. Obviously TIT and anything can happen but officially these are the hours. p.s. just went to my local 711. No alcohol sales until 11 am Monday. M&P shop a minute away (walking) no problems

    I think you've missed the point. The ban for elections is 6 pm Sat - 6 pm Sun and the ban for the Buddhist observance is midnight Saturday - midnight Sunday. If you want to "actually" me on this feel free. All up except for the "exceptions" it's 30 hours.

    Basically I had no idea. I went back in the morning to have a look. It was a mound of dirt with some bricks and some small Buddhist symbols on a vacant block of land. Impossible to spot at night in the dark. Religion (yes I call Buddhism a religion) is very odd indeed. Interesting though that your wife read about "a falang going ching chong in temple" 40 odd years ago in Nepal.
