iPhone 16 Launch Draws Large Crowds in Thailand
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Agree but I hope you don't mind me editing your last sentence. Here it is. You were so close. The people that rush to buy them are simple and pretentious. p.s. As for rubbish that was a bit of a throw away line. Smart phone technology is amazing. I do wonder, however, if it's actually needed or people just think or are influenced to believe it's needed. p.s.s Is it still a really bad thing to drop an iphone. -
iPhone 16 Launch Draws Large Crowds in Thailand
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Never mind. Coming soon you can hand over lots of your money for something you basically already have. I guess you can show off for a while with your new phone until you have to fork out even more money for the next NEW Phone. -
iPhone 16 Launch Draws Large Crowds in Thailand

Way over priced rubbish. All about showing off with a phone that maybe 10% of the features will actually be used. Same as all smart phones. Consumerism at its craziest. MUST GET THE NEW ONE!!!!!!!- 63 replies

"This case marks a crucial step in Thailand's ongoing efforts to combat corruption and hold officials accountable for misconduct." Only enemies of the those in power. How about a two pronged approach. Start at the top and work down and at the same time from the bottom up. Somewhere along the line almost all if not all school directors will be done for corruption. Hospital directors. Govt Dept. directors. BIB. Just 4 of many areas. Top down. Well the very top is untouchable but working down it again would be almost all if not all politicians. Same goes with the generals, judges and the top of the RTP. Build a new jail and throw them all in. Thing is if you took all the corrupt out of the system there would not be many people left to run the show. Sadly corruption is endemic top to bottom.

Government Strengthens Efforts to Tackle Narcotics Crisis

And Thaksin is well and truly behind this. How about the powerful untouchables and corrupt officials making a fortune from it. Yabba is flooding in from Myanmar and there are some very powerful people on both sides of the border behind it. -

Former Army Chief Set to Lead Neo-Conservative Party
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The 14th will be unsuccessful. It will also quite possibly be bloody. You don't need to hold the guns if you hold the people. Last election the MFP held the majority of the people. Next election they will hold even more. -
Former Army Chief Set to Lead Neo-Conservative Party

Their numbers are absolutely no where near that of the numbers that want a progressive government. What they have is power and connections. They are by far the minority. The "establishment". -

Yep. Struggled might not be the correct verb but this bunch of ultra royalists military idiots stand only one chance of gaining power and that's through the corruption of the system or a coup.- 64 replies

Polling Agency Petitioned to Probe PM’s Mini-Heart Gesture

As you can see for yourself there is clearly a difference. The mini heart gesture does not have the forefinger and thumb rubbing together. Way off the mark with this one mate. -
Pheu Thai Party Wins By-Election in Phitsanulok
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Is it? It was a bi-election in only in one constituency in the province. -
I think this is very good news and adds to the high status of this coalition of corrupt rsholes. My fear is it will be the army that boots them out and not the people. Yes, the Iast election the people voted the dinosaurs out but the dinosaurs disregarded the people. The dinosaurs own the courts and the tanks.

People’s Party urges urgent rewrite of 2017 constitution
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
When or if this is done it doesn't matter if the people are involved or not. The status quo which protects and increases the wealth and power of the establishment will remain in place through manipulation and corruption. This will only change when the progressive powers take full power over these corrupt dinosaurs. How or if this happens makes for an interesting and possibly very dangerous future for Thailand. -
