  1. Love the humour. The outcome vis a vis who will win is already known. The outcome after the election isn't and that's if we get to the next election before the tanks are back on the streets.
  2. I agree with the ballot box. Won't matter who PTP run they are fkd. The traitorous Thaksin will be punished.
  3. It is was it says it is. SPECULATION. There's someone else in the running that is far more likely.
  4. If you can't respond properly on a forum about things happening in Thailand I suggest it's you who should go away.
  5. Your information is misinformation. Not all teachers get visa and wp permit paid for, free health insurance for life???????????? you're kidding, Thai citizenship, no way but free lunch yes, but only at some schools.
  6. Yeh sure. Probably goes something like this. "If your going to rip off tourists make sure it's not by too much and make sure you don't get caught".
  7. An impotant and positive story. Pity the accompanying headline is rubbish. Nothing brave happening here just an effective response of which she (if the pic is actually the doc mentioned, never know on this forum) led the medical team on site. Seems like the emergency response system they have in place worked well. Edit: I checked and the image is Dr Wichanya Burirak.
  8. Hey wait! I thought it was the marijuana. Thing is 1 in 5 will suffer from some sort of mental health issues.
  9. I'm not talking about Thaksin here more to the point of "importing information into a computer system that could defame, insult, or show malice towards the Thai royal family." I'm gussing importing in this sense mean downloading. This is very concerning and stinks of an autocratic system and a freedom of interpretation when prosecuting under the weaponised Section 112.
  10. And Thaksin says he had nothing to do with it. "I'm just an old man." Anyone who believes this is deluded. It was a set up through and through.
  11. Have you seen some of those steroid using muay thai people?
  12. The whole thing is a complete chirade. A sentate should be voted for by the poeople in an election not some dodgy self selection process. p.s. might be a while before we see any section 112 articles here again or they'll be comments closed. Seems that's now off limits.
  13. Sadly this is a reality. The spoilt little darlings at many schools can have this power. Mummy and daddy pay lots of money so the school doesn't want any trouble and if some of the spoilt little darlings don't like the teacher they're out the door. Nothing to do with the competency of the teacher in these cases it's the money.
  14. Vaping at school? Should not be allowed and I would like to see evidence that it's happening? Vaping at uni or college ok. Dealing with adults and freedom of choice but at schools? Something tells me this just doesn't occur. After school maybe but not at school. I stand to be corrected but this article seems a little off to me and is more about strengthening the negative narrative against vaping. As for hazardous chemicals in vapes are these worse than the thousands of chemicals, many carcinogenic, found in cigs?
  15. I'm suprised comments aren't closed for this one. Simultaneously, according to the group Thai Lawyers for Human Rights, 272 individuals have been charged under the lèse-majesté law in 303 cases between November 24, 2020 and May 10 this year. The weaponisation of Section 112 in practice.
  16. Arrhythmia is a serious condition that can lead to cardiac arrest. Early retirement perhaps?
  17. CBD coffee in the morning before work and I nice joint and a beer or three after work. I could go with that. Sounds very civilized to me.
  18. I doubt very, very much that the MFP would form a coalition with the traitorous PTP.
  19. Probably got some of these GT200 bomb detectors still. Should've handed them off at the same time.
  20. Not too difficult to find an actual pic of the redline rather than going for an AI chosen image of "Thai trains".
  21. Thakin is the awkward yet necessary bedfellow.....for now.
  22. Allow to add one more very crucial item to this list "legal ambiguity and interpretation [and corruption]."
  23. Thing is the "owned CC" as you put it is not owned by Thaksin. It's part of the Junta's legal apparatus as is the EC.
  24. You would think that they could actually use an image of Thai baht NOT the US dollar. As for the loan sharks I'll bet that those at the top are very well connected.
