I suggest you look up asymptomatic covid infection. It seems my above explanation wasn't clear enough but in the most simplest of terms you can be infected and not know that you're infected. It would be close to 100% infection rate in Thailand. Maybe you haven't had it but the point is without a blood test you can't be certain. I have no idea how many times I've had it. Two for sure but very possibly more. Sniffle here, bit of a sore throat there, a cough, a splitting headache, a few aches and pains etc. Don't take much notice as it's all pretty mild. Covid? Maybe, maybe not.

Ah! How do you know you haven't had Covid? You do realize I hope that some people who get infected have zero symptoms or symptoms that are so mild it goes unnoticed. It's called an asymptomatic infection. Unless you've had a blood test for anti-bodies you cannot know for certain that you haven't had a past infection.

Your comment is more apt in relation to the article than my comment. Covid19 Omicron is endemic as is the common cold and the flu.

Interestingly the actual science behind mask wearing and social distancing has never been independently verified. If it has it hasn't made it's way to the public. By independent I do not mean the CDC, the WHO, Government bureaucrats, the legacy media or any organisation beholden to big pharma. Boosters are being advised for the immunocompromised and those with other severe comorbidities. I'm not sure if your common sense is a) common or b) sensible but it is your choice.

So for around 70,000,000 people here in Thailand dying from (not with) covid19 of the Omicron variety should not be of any great concern.

Interesting that BP ran an article last week citing a virologist from Chulalongkorn University who said that boosters are no longer necessary for healthy people because the symptoms are generally mild. I've been saying for a very long time now. It's Omicron and Omicron is doing what Omicron does. It evolves. It evolves so it can infect people that have gained some natural immunity. This is called immune escape. People will gain natural immunity with this variant and then this variant will evolve immune escape. So it goes on. It cannot be stopped and it could never be stopped. Zero Covid 19 was a complete smokescreen and never attainable.
