  1. You can cancel it yourself. I suggest ringing the PM's Dept or TAT. Other than that don't winge. TIT and Songkran's part of it.
  2. This is completely incorrect. It was never announced that the water chucking/water guns would go for 21 days. NEVER. I would love to see this comment backed up with some evidence. Again I say it was NEVER announced that this year's "World Songkran" 🤣 would be any different to previous year's apart from certain celebrations (NOT WATER THROWING/SQUIRTING🤩) in certain places at certain times. This whole thing is a beat up and sadly the author of this article is on the band wagon.
  3. Joe Farrari? Boss? Thaksin? Quite a long line up in The Land of Smiles with the corrupt getting off scott free. Needless to say it costs them a lot of money to the other corrupt entities.
  4. This is exactly what I posted in response to many posters on this forum when this was first announced. So many saying 21 days is stupid etc. So plenty of folk on here also 'misunderstanding' the actual 21 day period. I said it then and it must be obvious to everyone now that there would be little difference and Songkran would be as usual. This year an extra day I think but still only April 12-16. The official Songkran period.
  5. The puppet PM would have had no say in this. This was green lighted by the military. Big brown evenvelope on this one that's for sure.
  6. I guess money from submarines purchase could do a lot more than this without a handout (strings attatched) from the CCP. The CCP always wants something in return. This is not good hearted generosity.
  7. This isn't very well thought through. I'm sure if you posted road carnage you would be arrested. Apart from this it's just adding fuel to the fire IMHO. Who's going to vet the uploads? Upload of ladyboys flashing their tits or a child pouring water over their mother's head? Sometimes I'm not 100% sure of somethings but on this I am. I would not be going out on a limb to say 98% likes would go to the ladyboys.
  8. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! This sort of thing is bad for tourism. I'm suprised Assoc Prof Chalerm Liewsisakul hasn't been charged for tarnishing the image of Thailand. Today's fire map. https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/map/#d:24hrs;@111.5,15.8,4.9z AQI https://aqicn.org/station/thailand-chiang-mai-cmis-chiangmai/#/z/11
  9. Motorcyclist and child fall into road sinkhole in Nonthaburi (video) Watch the video and you'll see why this is just another incorrect/misleading headline. Headline should read: Motorcyclist and child saved from falling into road sinkhole in Nonthaburi (video)
  10. On one level yes but you need to go up a rung or two and keep going before you get to where the real power lies and who really is in charge.
  11. Going after 112 reform was part of what gave them such a great result a result that should have led to forming govt. The outmaneuvering as you say was carried out by non-elected senators put in place by a junta. This isn't political maneuvering it's a total corruption of the democratic process. You forget MFP did win and every Thai knows this and also know why their right to govern was usurped.
  12. They are a reformist and progressive party. Political maturity has nothing to do with the usurping of the democratic process which saw their rightful place to govern denied by the military. They layed out their policies and stood by them. This should be applauded and not criticised as immature.
  13. Yes and their betrayal to their voting public by jumping into bed with the military will not be forgotten or go unpunished. I believe that a majority of those who voted PTP, who came 2nd in the election by a large margin, would have prefered to see MFP govern rather than PTP jumping into bed with the devil.
  14. Amphetamines would top the list as the most harmful I guess and dope would come in last on the list. Definig harmful may change the order of the top 3 but whatever the definition dope would still be the least harmful. Apart from this it's been said by the PM that dope is bad for the economy and others in the govt/govt departments about social risks and harms. Absolutely no data presented.
  15. PTP is a conservative populist party in bed with the ultra-conservative military elite. I challenge anyone to dispute this.
  16. MFP was FFP's plan B. Plan C; the formation of the new MFP would have been being planned since or even before the last sham election. It's sad that any mention of 112 reform is now being legitimised to be a move against the Constitutional Monarchy itself. Everyone knows this isn't the case but will be legitimised via the junta's legal apparatus. If the military says it's the case it will be the case.
  17. Isn't using the bank's app real online banking? As for @spidermike007 can only agree 100% about waiting for some dozy person to go through their phone and then work out all over again how to work the app. It's like watching someone scrolling through their photos. Of course another thing is the app might be down or the internet might be down and then you're screwed. Cash is my go to but I do use QR codes sometimes.
  18. So being that on average there's been a coup every 4.5 years and the last one here was in 2014 you say it's too early for the next one. I'm missing your logic on this one. It would seem at 10 years it's well overdue according to the average.
  19. IT'S NOT A HEATWAVE!!!!! Hot days and hot nights are normal for the HOT SEASON. Heatwaves are abnormally high day and night temps for an extended period. This quite simply is not the case.
  20. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Only the military elite are allowed to be in power. Anyone else will be denied such power before, during or after elections. PTP are next on the list even though the real reigns of power as it stands remains with the military elite. IMHO another coup is likely and coming soon.
  21. There is one missing from the list that would come in well ahead of the pack at number one.
  22. Who would have thought. Kickbacks at the highest levels. I hope there's some good evidence.
  23. Only to be expected when a populist policy is announced during an election with zero planning on how to fund it and how to implement it. Bunch of amateur emptyheaded morons.
  24. There's one thing the corrupt generals are very good at and that's corruption. Paper and electroinic money trials would be very well disguised would be my guess. Hopefully something or someone comes forward at some stage but I doubt it.
