This is actually a serious problem. I tell any Thai person I can about this (they don't care of course, stupid farang doesn't understand how free money works). The reason playing the lottery is bad is because it teaches a mindset that you can have something for nothing. People here are literally sitting around talking about winning the lottery when they could be doing something productive.

I thought Americans had problems with debt and responsible spending but Thailand is worse. All these proposals from the government are going to make things worse and teach the Thais to be even more irresponsible.

5'6" is too tall even! You can stand between the beams but you'll hit your head if you don't crouch in between them. Another 2 feet would have been enough to have a whole usable floor.

But they could have raised the ceiling and had a whole new floor. They even put in windows and there's a door even.

I've actually seen this in real life also. In the video they speak like it's totally normal and the builder even remarks how there's extra space above her head despite crouching around to avoid hitting her same very head. ???? This is probably a 150-160cm tall women. Is there a cost or material reason they can't make the floor a little higher so it's not impossible to walk in? It looks like to me they totally wasted an entire floor of a 2.6 million baht house. Madness.

So Hua Hin is very expensive. It's crazy how expensive land is here considering how much undeveloped lots sit there for years. Maybe 1.5 is too expensive for your area. No idea what the market is like out there.

Why don't you want to execute murders and rapists? What about the people who beat children to death? You have compassion for criminals but what about justice for the innocent?

Now compare that to all the people who were released from jail only to kill again. Were those lives lost worth the cost of 30 errors? I bet I could find 30 of those myself just by using Google.
