It's a great friend and perfect for Thailand. Best 6000 baht I ever spent.

it's deeper than this too. You would need to literally separate families so they don't spread their backward ways to their children. Forced relocating and separating families is not practical of course so they just let it rip. Like Muslims from Africa that surgically remove their daughter's clits. Americans thought it would be so kind to help these poor refugees and now you have female genital mutilation an issue in Minnesota. Who needs this crap? If you're going to have mass immigration at least have SOME standards. The lowest bar should be "would I take a vacation in their country?" If the answer is no then a full stop ban on those immigrants.

Really? Try asking a Thai about plans after a person dies. I get scolded every time I ask these questions but it's important to plan for them. They seem very reluctant around the topic.

Why does a Brit have a Donald Trump avatar then? I assumed you were American obviously.

If I have anything nasty to say I'll wait until I have time to post there. 😆

Seems like 99% of the bad Farangs go to a couple places (you can guess where). The people I met in the north have all been good people and often are there because they jive with the locals and want to live like them.

Amazing how women all over the western world have campaigned to be invaded by savages from broken countries they wouldn't dare even visit once. Pakistan, Somalia, Guatemala etc... Are you kidding me? Then they complain they don't feel safe in their cities and move to Korea or Iceland where there's no diversity.

White people have a death wish with Africans. I don't know what it is because they will not leave them alone and continue to intervene in African and take as many African immigrants as possible. All we get in return is crime poverty and a population explosion in Africa producing even more problems in the future.

Do Thai people understand why speeding is dangerous? They seem to not. Even the posted speed limits (which aren't followed anyways) are often far too fast for the area. You have kids at university trying to do U-turns where cars are going 90+km/hour. It's totally mental but seems outside their mentally to grasp.

This girl who recently was in the buddha tattoo debate appeared on YouTube and I recognized her so I watched a little. You come across this from time to time in Thailand, a young person with an apparent lack of identity shills to the Thais in order to gain acceptance. On the surface level it seems to go over well with the Thai public and gets views so they make money from foreign and Thai audiences. Not sure how this works in real life though, feels like pandering or shilling to me and is very hard to watch. I wonder if this is what got her in hot water with the tattoo. Ok let's say gets the passport and becomes "Thai". Will she really be accepted? Pandering for likes on social media is not real life and Thais are very protective of their culture and famously insular as has been documented since forever. Have all the passport you want but the average Thai on the street will call her Farang and speak to here in English and flag her down for taxi rides. Having the passport would make this very real humiliation. What this really outlines to me is the pathetic state of the western nations today. There has been a multi decade campaign to undermine national identity in white countries. An entire generation of people have been raised to feel guilt for being European and shame for their heritage. What this woman is doing shows it has been successful and now an English girl is confused enough to believe she can be Thai merely because of what government documents she has.

I was just watching some real estate video on YouTube and the guy was wondering why corporate investors are moving out of South Atlanta and prices are dropping. South Atlanta from what I understand is the black part of the city but he didn't seem to know how this works or wouldn't dare say so much. It occurs to me the median home price in America is actually an illusion because it includes diverse areas that whites won't live if they afford it. The price of a house in a white area is going to be considerably more, something which I saw firsthand during my time in South Carolina. There's basically a diversity tax on white Americans which they need to pay in order to have safety and order in their community. A lot of the racism probably stems from that.

oh yes you're right I stand corrected. Maybe it was flagged in their computer for 25 years this guy overstayed his 30 days and simply didn't know where to find him because his passport was never registered doing rentals. Seems unlikely though so I wonder how he got away for so long. -
Racism is learned in my experience. Notice the people who are most anti-racist are the people who live in homogenous areas. Lacessit even said so much himself, only once he actually experienced Arabs did he turn against them. I'm sure before that he had no problems with Arabs. The only real bigotry I ever experienced was liberal whites against white southerners. It's really appalling actually given they never lived in the south and it was pure prejudice. The white southerns may have had Jim Crow laws etc.. but that was a reaction to actually living with blacks and dealing with them personally. Totally different circumstances.

17 Dead in Bus Crash on Hillside Road in Prachinburi
NorthernRyland replied to Georgealbert's topic in Thailand News
Some years ago in Pai I was on my road bike going up the mountain and saw the fresh wreck of a bus that went off the road and got the entire top shaved off by a large tree limb. There was a still a body in the seat they didn't remove. It was a predictable long steep section followed by a sharp turn. Many accidents there. Since then they've put up a very significant cement shoulder but still crashes happen I'm sure, just you can't go off the side of the road so easily. -

Respect in Thailand? I get shown no respect. People constantly will race to cut me off at an intersection, pull out in front of me because they're bigger or pass at dangerously close levels to avoid slowing down. No respect at all here. -

What? He entered at some date and never did his 90 day reports so you can easily identity this in the database. But sure there's many other ways to identity him and they did eventually. He may have been last seen in 2000 in Bangkok so finding record of him may be difficult if he never used his passport for anything during his 25 year stay. -

It's so hard to compare because the drivers in the US aren't used to two wheeled vehicles and expect them to follow the exact same rules as everyone else, which doesn't always happen and thus accidents. In Thailand everyone is driving hyper defensive because they know so many motorbikes are doing stupid things constantly. If Thailand is safer here it's because the other drivers are picking up the slack and having worse time themselves then they would driving in the US. -

Thai people don't seem to understand how they drive is dangerous. He could have been racing to pass between vehicles going around a bend and lost control that way. You see this behavior all the time. The first assumption here should always be reckless driving.
