  1. I don't know about this. I was just back in Colorado for 2 months and the relative humidity is like 25%. Now back in Thailand and dealing with 95+% humidity. The dry air is hard to adjust too but it's free of mold at least. Why does the OP think it's the AC instead of other factors like mold? It may be the specific room/location you're in has a mold problem. I've found this to be true for myself who gets asthma in Thailand but not back home.
  2. I agree Thailand is actually a really crap place for dogs. Even if you can find a place to walk there's the constant nuisance of stray dogs that will bother or maybe even attack you. Virtually every nice place you can think of will have stray dogs that found it before you or the neighbors in the area will let their dogs roam free. The only places I found which I can walk are dirt roads in the mountains and they're swarming with mosquitoes for half the year even so. Very poor options compared to the US.
  3. My dog fits in a bag (see profile photo) but Eva airlines will take this size, maybe even in the cabin. They seem very dog friendly in Taiwan. I think it was $300 per trip last time I checked.
  4. I don't understand Thai people with dogs. They feed strays but then let them suffer of disease on the street and bite people. Then when a person is fed up they poison the dog and nothing is ever resolved. Completely uncivilized behavior if you ask me.
  5. Thai people can sleep anywhere. Nothing seems to be enough to stop them from falling asleep. It makes you wonder how conscious they ever are if they can sleep so easily.
  6. shocking. I was just watching some guy YT channel and he said during his time in Africa the neighbors would throw boiling water over dogs they didn't so he had to build an extra high fence to protect them. Crazy people out there.
  7. Tests mean nothing. All you need to do is drive around a checkpoint at certain hours of the day. That's how much of a joke laws are to the Thai's.
  8. This is something everyone should know. Real data from dating apps. Whatever the reasons are, this is what it's happening in the real world. https://www.npr.org/sections/codeswitch/2013/11/30/247530095/are-you-interested-dating-odds-favor-white-men-asian-women
  9. I agree but that's just Thai people in general. The women here are very practical and simple minded in their pursuits. I don't see they aspire to have these deep relationships and understanding of "who they are". In fact that's their appeal to me honestly.
  10. You do you see young guys getting Thai girls way hotter than they could pull back home. That's just a fact. Not losers they're just taking advantage of the situation that presented itself. The girl in the video is clearly fuming because she's been out competed by Thai women and instead of taking it with grace she lashes out at the men.
  11. Usually what happens is the guy comes off a divorce and the woman is a single mother so they have this arrangement where they're trying to piece together a shattered life. It's not ideal but what can you do at that point. I don't think the guy is a loser though he's just trying to get the best deal he can given the circumstances.
  12. Maybe some of the grades are averaged over the plot and not technically 30% but the building on any mountains is high unusual in Thailand. If you look around on Google maps you will see the villages always stop directly at the mountain edge. My rental house in the mountains is on a steep slope but they owned this late in the village before the Thais arrived and issued deeds etc... so they let them get away with it. I think in Pong Yaeng some big money got in and designated the area as a "special zone" or something. I have seem lots of buildings in Phuket, Samui on mountains too I suspect the same things happening there.
  13. They're putting them up in Pong Yaeng Chiang Mai where I live near. Something happened after COVID and there's been a surge of tourism in the area. They're cutting into steep mountains which never had structures there before. Some corruption is happening I'm sure of it. Look at this thing. They cut into the mountain but those grades look over 30% when you're passing by. I didn't survey it but I'm very suspicious. hard to see from here but those are questionable also. They all appeared in a few years which is suspicious too.
  14. no problem I'm just curious why the government put their limit at 300k as "low income". Others seem to agree this is BS.
  15. Governments are forever greedy parasites on our backs. I really do despise them.
  16. 300k/year is low income? How many people in Bangkok earn 25k/month? Minimum wage is 363/day so even if you worked 7 days a week that is still only 10k/month. I think 25k/month probably exceeds the median income in most other cities.
  17. I can think of many structures on steeper land but somehow they get approval. It seems often once somebody gets in for whatever reason and builds something they virtually never pull it down so there's an incentive to pay bribes and build before a higher authority finds out. Samui is just too high profile to get away with it so easily. Also the gradient is 30% I think.
  18. So they drew up the deed on national forest and then took money for the land they fabricated? I bet this has happened more than once in many areas.
  19. black females are the most precious of all protected classes in America. No way she would give anything to white women and perpetuate the vile legacy of white supremacy.
  20. All the various tribes which existed on the land before any Europeans came were not Americans. You know who they are so why play dumb?
  21. The original Americans are going to be a minority in the very near future. Do they think the millions of new immigrants which aren't even from Europe will want to play the pander to blacks game that democrats are running? This is going to seriously backfire and will start costing them the Hispanic and Asian vote.
  22. being ki nok farang has its benefits. 😂
  23. This is actually impressive because she appears to not be a native English speaker and even so copied all the worst parts of American English flawlessly. I'm thinking German or Russian.
  24. and yet you're still kicking. 😂
