It's beyond comprehension that any country would accept Somalians as immigrants. One of the most tragic countries in the world and they've clearly learned nothing. It's always very disturbing when I travel back to Colorado USA and I'm greeted with Somalians/Ethiopians manning the wheel chairs and trollies in the airport. Must some NGO sponsored program to find cheap labor.

Here's a list of nick names Trump himself uses: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nicknames_used_by_Donald_Trump This is pretty normal stuff out there in the real world. Bizarre the mods would put there foot down on this. Yeah people are tired of it for sure. The amount of programs out there intended to give money to the 3rd world is mental. You could spend weeks studying all of it. Then if that wasn't bad enough they have programs for "vulnerable" immigrants, never mind the poor already in the country that need just as much help.

Replacing a population is an act of war as far as I'm concerned and totally illegitimate even if sanctioned by some government. The English of the future will need to forcibly remove these people thanks the currently treasonous people in power. It will be ugly but it has to happen.

I think they deleted my post because I used a mocking name towards Donald Trump. I'm sorry, didn't think that was against the policy here. Let's double down on the point though. Is anyone here falling for this propaganda still? You voted for Trump and now that poor African woman and her child are starving in some trash filled slum. Shame on you!

in Thailand there's nearly a 100% tax on domestic tobacco (not sure about imported but it's high too) so the tobacco lobby is losing sales and the government is loosing tax revenue.

Thailand Chooses Cities for Future Casino Complexes

It's the kind of Buddhist where you gamble, drink, smoke weed and pay for sex. Not sure what kind of Buddhism you were thinking of. -

Chiang Mai has so many old row shops on now busy roads that have only street parking and make them difficult to access. I stopped going into the actual city a long time ago unless for some special reason. Not surprised these things close and don't come back. Oh but look they have gay pride flags now! yay finally some progress. -

does Chiang Mai really need any more ugly things and tourists? I think there's enough already. -

This would be such a disaster. They're still trying to sell this "rose of north" and "northern cultural capital" crap about Chiang Mai which has already lost most of that but if they added a casino it would be game over.- 77 replies

I've seen 24mb projects in Chiang Mai too. I wouldn't even want one if I could afford it. I don't know what the buyers are thinking but they must be loaded and looking to drop some money as quick as possible. -

The whole idea of protecting land ownership for Thai's has basically been thrown out the window at this point because property developers are making projects targeted at foreigners. If the company upholds their end of the bargain and lets them stay in the house then they can continue making these projects forever. That's why you see these stupid expensive prices like 7mb for some concrete box with big windows and a pool. -
Dog Barking Drama: When Neighbourly Conflicts Turn Threatening

The guy may have family that could retaliate. Maybe it's better to just poison the entire well in the moo ban to be sure. -

Dog Barking Drama: When Neighbourly Conflicts Turn Threatening

Dog doesn't know any better but it's wrong that all dog owners can control barking dogs. We don't have THAT much control over these things after all. -

Can anyone think of a time a fight got a person a "length prison term" in Thailand? How badly did the old man injure the other guy that his case was even considered? Interesting they've not shared any details about the other guy and only now released he was from the UK. -

Why did it cost him the price of a Hua Hin villa in court fees? Did the property dispute ever get resolved? Since when do people get in a fight and it turns in to a massive court battle costing millions of baht? Usually both sides are required to pay compensation and it's ended there. None of this story makes any sense. -

Use your imagination. They didn't own it with their name on the title but it was held through some other proxy. It doesn't matter who owns the land if they give you full unfettered access to it. -
Dog Barking Drama: When Neighbourly Conflicts Turn Threatening

This is totally true. 3rd world is a state of mind. Thailand has people who live no better than dogs themselves but also very kind and respectful family oriented people that put some of the swine you come across in the US to shame. -
Dog Barking Drama: When Neighbourly Conflicts Turn Threatening
NorthernRyland replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Was there a credible threat the dog was actually going to do this? If so you had a choice to poison the dog in advance or wait until there's an attack and then poison it later. Once you announced your intentions however you forfeited that option because you would likely be accused and face serious heat. Btw, was this one of those ghetto housing projects or row houses with lower class Thais? Those should always be avoided at all costs anyways.
