    Yes I see it.

But I'll believe it when the Feds don't crush it because of allegiance to loony Net Zero.

Plant is now fully operational, loading first commercial cargo this week. No BS. This first phase produces 14M tons per year of LNG, second phase is looking for new customers, which will double capacity to 28 million tons per year. No sense in waiting for Alaska LNG

That will never happen from Canada because of its disastrous Net Zero ideology.

    Sorry Canada, you lose (again)

    See for yourself; https://www.lngcanada.ca/who-we-are/about-lng-canada/

LNG Canada will export Canadian natural gas to Asian markets, putting Canada on the global map of LNG exporting countries and creating a world-leading LNG industry in British Columbia and Canada. Using LNG from B.C. has the potential to greatly reduce those countries’ greenhouse gas emissions, resulting in significant net global greenhouse gas reductions while significantly improving air quality.

Through a combination of energy efficient natural gas turbines and renewable electricity from BC Hydro, our project will emit less than half the greenhouse gas emissions of the average LNG facility currently in operation.

LNG Canada operates in an environment of continuous and demonstrable improvement. We work with governments to develop innovative policy solutions that position B.C. and Canada as leaders in energy development, reconciliation and environmental stewardship.

  3. Sad to hear you are still following the "standard of care" model of health care where the medical practitioner/doctor prescribes treatment for the  symptom, not the root cause of your condition. Look on the internet, youtube, there are ways to avoid rosacea and perhaps eliminate its re-occurance forever. Try searching youtube with Dr. Berg, or Dr. Ekberg or Dr. William Davis, and rosacea.

I am not a medical doctor nor am I dispensing medical advice.

Says two things, the police are lazy, and will call it a suicide, or they dont want to catch the perps

Remember that you can hang with your hands tied behind you back in LOS and be called a suicide.

Things not looking good for tourists numbers.

This happens often. The Police just want to close the case quickly and avoid difficult, long, extensive expensive investigations. It's just another Indian, and there are more than a billion more.

Earlier this month, in Pattaya, an old foreigner is found dead on his bed, in a rented condo, no signs of violence or trauma. They automatically assume heart attack. Body is sent to Bang Lamung hospital for storage, then 10 days later to the police hospital in Bangkok for autopsy. Autopsy confirms heart attack but no toxic substance testing. Autopsy should be performed within 24 hours of death to avoid tissue decay and to get accurate test results, especially toxicological tests.

Lots of foreigners get drugged, and perhaps over-drugged, by short time visitors. I have had 3 friends drugged and robbed in Pattaya, all survived to tell the tale. One friend got drugged in Las Vegas, but didn't survive.

  5. Immigration certainly know the names, passport details, photos and finger prints of the over stayers. Run one query against their database and have the answer back in an hour ( depending on the computer system ). They probably have the query already programmed, with detailed breakdowns by country passport, number in Thailand, number authorized for 60 days, number over stayed based on 60 days, etc. etc.

As for foreigners owning businesses in Thailand, just go to the Ministry that registers the companies and directors, run a query against their database, and identify all directors without Thai Id numbers. Then go and visit the non-Thai directors, based on last location from immigration database. Of course a lot of data may not be up to date, and many small businesses may not be registered. But the database probably does contain the big fish, so fry the big ones first. Also fry the lawyers or consultants who assisted in establishing the nominee companies for foreigners. When one of these consultants is found, go through their files and bank accounts, to find other foreigners running companies.

Nothing complicated here. I am just wondering who is benefiting from not doing the work or who has been blocking the work?

  6. It takes a few months, maybe even a year for THB to start responding to US tariffs.

For example: The U.S. plans tariffs of up to 3,521% on solar panels from Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Nearly $12B in imports could be impacted. Timing hasn't been announced.

Also, Chinese built ships and Chinese owned ships will experience significantly higher US port fees starting in Oct. 2025, but continuing to increase in the months and years thereafter. So this will also increase the landed costs of Thai imports into US, if the exporters are using Chinese ships. Non-Chinese ships will be increasing their rates. Maybe the Chinese will get sneaky- take the cargo close to US and then transfer it  to a non-chinese ship at sea which brings the cargo into a USA port. Something like what the Russians do with their oil, transfer at sea, to a ship that has never been in a Russian port. Anyways, the transfer at sea will cost $$, and USA may take other action to make transfer-at-sea less desirable.

When I first came I was told that buying a property through a company with Thai nominee directors was illegal but common practice. Nobody had been prosecuted or lost the property. That was close to thirty years ago and there have been periodic scares about a crackdown but I am unaware of many if any problems.

One way you can lose property, like a house, is if you don't pay taxes. A friend bought land and a house, put it in company name. Four years later the tax department show up at his door and said we haven't received any tax returns from you and we don't think you are running a company/business. We are confiscating your house.

I recall TGs outside auditor is the Thai arm of Deloitte Touché.. as such, I’d be very very surprised if there was any malfeasance or violations of GAAP - otherwise Deloitte wouldn’t sign off on any of the required disclosures.

They will sign off even if there are irregularities, else the audit won't be complete. They might add a sentence or two deviating from the standard compliance statement if they find irregularities. Also, the audit depth and verification process will have a significant impact on the final statement.

Whoever was the auditor in the old TG, didn't reveal irregularities such as free flights authorized by management. Once I tried to buy a business class ticket on TG from CNX to BKK and they were sold out, so I bought economy class. Once I got on the flight, most of business class was filled with children. Talked to one kid and he said someone's dad worked for the airline and they all got a free flight.

I have never found good extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) in Thailand. Good oil must state, on the bottle, first cold pressed,  the harvest date, and the country of origin of the olives, and preferably also the region. The best ones will actually state the polyphenols in the oil. There are lots of reports that EVOO is often mixed with other oils. Checkout reports on youtube. Buyer beware!

The good EVOO will have a specification of PDO (protected designation of origin) or PGI (protected geographical indication). Make sure the harvest date is within 1 year of consumption.

    I stopped consuming it.

I'm guessing I can get decent fats elsewhere and have decided to cut my losses with this olive oil madness.

Good luck if you can outwit the scammers.

I have reduced use of EVOO, just use a little on salads. I mostly use virgin coconut oil and butter now for frying.

I am afraid just about everything we eat ,has some problems with it ,almost

certainly has plastic in it , dangerous chemicals in small amounts that build

up overtime in your body , if we knew the way  that food is produced  we

    would not eat anything ,

    regards worgeordie

Eat whole foods not processed foods. Wash fruits and vegetables with food grade soap  and/or soak them in baking soda solution for 15 minutes and rinse with drinking water. Avoid farmed fish, eat only wild caught fish or sea food. Never buy or use oils stored in plastic containers. Lots of good advice on Youtube and on the internet - checkout Dr. Ekberg and Dr. Berg recommendations on youtube.

Yes the bottle I bought at Makro did not taste the same as in europe.

I think they mixed some other oil with it. Viscosity was different too. Can't prove it of course.

I too have bought olive oil from Makro, Tops, Villa, Big C and other stores, always buying only extra virgin olive oil, and cold pressed or cold extracted, most times buying the most expensive. I wonder if any of the supermarkets or stores test the products that they put on  their shelves? I have never found an olive oil in Thailand that tastes like the real good olive oil.

I highly recommend everybody using olive oil watch this video or just google fake olive oil.

Olive oil seems to be the healthiest , but very expensive here in Thailand.
