The problem is where the transformers are sited. Last year close to me one exploded and it was located next to a balcony of a block of apartments their was a lot of flame and black smoke. Luckily no one injured. -

How safe is Thai society for children?

I appears to me that Thai awareness to danger in relation to there children is very low. This can be seen by how they carry there children on motorbikes. I am not saying they do not love there kids but they do not see the outcome of somethings they do. -
Quite agree a dozen BIB to sort out an immigration issue of 1 woman says it all. Why is it even news? Does it make Thailand safer because she as been found out?

Their appears to be no safety net to help poorly paid officers here. They get paid peanuts and so resort to taking back handers and as in this case robbery. Other countries have Police credit unions were they can borrow at very low interest rates but the ideal thing would be to pay a decent living wage.
