BANGKOK, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Thailand's Constitutional Court on Wednesday dismissed Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin for appointing to his cabinet a former lawyer who served jail time, raising the spectre of more political upheaval and a reset of the governing alliance. seeing how this is the slow time for tinsel-town and tv productions, I have been scratching my bald spot in frustration for what to watch. I came across this old movie and realised they have a total of 5 movies spread out over 40 years... might appeal to some, might not to others... and might just bring back memories too... sorry for the pic sizes... i only put 3 movie posters...

agreed once again. I was once talking to a thai headmaster i worked with and he told me that the shame with thailand is that when students graduate and have native like english skills they tend to go work abroad because of the disparity of salaries offered and the skills they acquired... the smart kids know better than stay here and work for some thai boss who will pay them a pittance and treat them like beasts of burden. for some reason, the high-so's of thailand still see their workforce as slaves... even us foreigners... this is why i have trouble staying in a job here if the admin still adheres to the "old way" of doing things

agree... tosays new generation of parents look at their kids on facebook and line and think. 'my child is so tech savvy!' people dont understand that tech savvy starts at writing code for software, bot chatting and posting their lunch. you also need to know and understand how networks work and are set up... not the PR style of networking...

thailand needs to ATTRACT talent cos its own kids are failing miserably at school. were they to upgrade their education system ... mostly admin and qualified teachers... they wouldnt need to outsource the future tech jobs

for years i had no recourse or options when i wanted to buy something. other than tesco, makro and other chains i had to do business with small/medium sized local shops usually owned by thai chinese. the quality was crap and if something broke they did nothing. now that all these online platforms are eating into their profits they arent happy... but i certainly am. these small/medium shop owners had the monopoly long enough. will they improve their service, or warranties if the online shops have hurdles in their way...? certainly not... theyll just increase the prices, thai style

krungsri exchange rate is on of the worst. i use bangkok bnk for internayional tranfers. i looked at uob exchange rate and they seem to offer a good exchange but i dont have an account with them so i cant speak for them. when i withdraw on credit card i usually use kasikorn. i never tried uob cos around here i cant seem to find any. @Henryford read above... i do. let me know if you find better than what i posted.
