legal or not that would me my main concern too. Do the have weight bearing pilons? My house has about 24, it is a new house less than 2 yrs old, and I can still see many cracks arising. had i no pilons it surely would have collapsed. the thing with renovating 'legally' seems to be that if the same lay out is used there is no problem and no need for permit. but if the lay out changes then that is a whole new kettle of fish. a guy i know bought 2 adjacent houses and linked them by building a whole new area between the 2 making it a single house. he knows it is illegal but said he will wait till they catch him. I dont know if grandfather rights exist if it is done and no one ever catches them... it might be ok.. risky venture in many ways... I wouldnt have the cash to gamble either way

i know this 'credit card'. it isnt a credit card... why dont you just keep your money in a regular account and withdraw, or pay with it. i hate this thai bank scheme... i was offered it before and i laughed in their face.

led lights resembling fluorescent tubes. i tested the inlets, but not the connections on the cables on the light switches

when i turn off a light switch in a room it makes my ups beep as if there is a power outage. it does not beep each time i flip a switch. i live in a newly built house that is fully grounded. i tested all the electric inlets with a tester to make sure all the electric wiring was done correctly. i am baffled, and i dont understand how the current might make a 'loop' like that and make my ups beep. any ideas?

i think you mean the option to use the bank conversion rate vs the other 'local rate. forgot the exact wording... i never had time to calculate as i am afraid the atm will gobble my card. i have tried to google an answer but nothing clear/'concise was found. so, as you say... i always choose no but i wonder if that is the right choice. i tried to make sennse of the kasikorn website for currency exchange cos i believe their rate is the best. but their heading that has buy/sell is somewhat confusing. you might have misunderstood my op about krungsri vs bkk bnk. i ALMOST never use bkk bnk atm. they are/were limited to 25k withdrawal whereas krungsri is 30k. about 2 years ago i switched to kasikorn as they seem to have a better, although insignificant change, in their exchange rate. i do find bkk bank for service is better than krungsri... but as you pointed out not xchange rate.

cant find bkk bank to compare with krungsri in this app at atm's, krungsri always give me a poor rate. so far kasikorn SEEMS to be the best. bkk bank is also weak
