  1. apart from my personal experience with these guys, this is why i call the pigs. particularly here in thailand where they are above the law and accountable to no one.
  2. sure seem to think they are tough these moped riders. would probably give a real biker gang a run for their money... they already have the mopeds and the patches...
  3. will he be able to get a private room at the police hospital?
  4. next comes the dual priced falang tax
  5. and when are you going to put a link back for chatgpt? i can find a link myself, but it was nice when it was here
  6. thank you for that. what this shows in fact is that this guy isnt after the money, but rather the power. which, is even worse, considering that he can afford to bribe, corrupt and manipulate anyone who would dare stand against him. normal people would retire and enjoy life. power hungry fiends just cant get enough... its always more more more
  7. not his wife, daddy in law...
  8. so daddy in law actually foots the bill of 1.5 million and expects no favors in return? in itself, that is corruption. if you think daddy in law, or big joke's wife expect nothing in return for this you are, to say the least, quite naive. about helping reporters? wow... buying the media's opinion so when and if he gets challenged he will have all these reporters who one day may be editors in his pocket. thanks @paul545 you helped me make my point
  9. the ONLY reason i would object is because this puke thai is coming up with all these tax schemes... why not disguise this as a bi-annual inspection where we have to foot the bill? sure seems this is what they are doing. if we paid once, a decent price, that included two inspections i might agree. but since puke thai came to power with clown face and the puppet master, it seems everyday i read about new gimmicks to separate us from our hard earned money.
  10. so is this going into effect, or as our visa stamps, "under consideration"? is this title misleading, or not?
  11. please explain because no jews or muslims in texas? or something else? maybe 18 street gang would take care of them all... or the bandidos?
  12. link? proof? likely his family got wealthy thanks to his corruption. i read an and defunct thaivisa daily and many times a day and i never saw a hint his family is rich before the fact so back up what you are saying. boring these guys who think a cop in thailand isnt corrupt... or maybe naive
  13. dont want to poke the silver lining, but damn!!! the make up fashion for asians in those days... what a mess.
  14. when weed is more expensive here in thailand than it is in the west you know there is a problem. 10$ a gram... back in canada in some gvt approved shops. this includes QC and you know the quality is rigorously tested for pesticides. here? not so sure
  15. i just cant trust any pig... no matter how many apparent good deeds he apparently did. when public officials are wealthier than what their salaries could possibly allow, there has to be something rotten somewhere.
  16. chinese/russian wealth might just astound you
  17. if only everyone took care of their vehicles. my truck is about 20 years old, diesel, body is ugly but apart from the occasional puff after running idle still runs clean. it is a real pity to see those smoke clouds coming by at high speed. but, one of the reasons these trucks run "rich" is because many tune them this way so they can go pedal to the metal with less risk of damaging their engines. some of these guys have high performance turbos and many mods under the hood that require running richer. that does not excuse the pollution we all must suffer, nor do the trucks who simply arent maintained. if the gvt is going to submit us to this, i hope they also submit the city bus and truck fleets to this.
  18. If this policy was implemented a while ago, then why do we still see the occasional go fund me for tourists in hospital? Ahhh let me venture the first guess... greed
  19. is 5 years what they call a severe ban? i think a lifetime ban would serve as a good dissuasion, not a mere 5 years
  20. wasnt sreta just saying in the last few days that his digital wallet would do just that? also, wasnt there an article last week and that there were like 5000 newly registered businesses?
  21. well, truth be told, i dont partake anymore, nor do i drink. but i do see you with the likes of drunks and bigots on a stool somewhere in a decrepit bar. prolly driving when youre drunk too
  22. in another post you ask how many days you should spend in thailand and in this post you speak as if you are here... are you the new local troll?
  23. next week there will be an announcement on how restaurants are doing great and how business is booming in restaurants in little off the beaten path in thailand... brain retching news every week...
  24. i live close to the base in sattahip... utapao... they have a PTT, 7/11 franchise, Amazon franchise if i am not mistaken... the army here in tland is a business.
  25. i know this guy very well, and youre right... the worst kind of troll. his avatar used to be a picture of prayut... gives you an idea of this guy's mindset. if i didnt know better i would say he has daddy issues
