i dont know how you make it. if you add water, i totally agree. the secret is to add milk instead. i use soy milk now as i have become a bit lactose intolerant, but soy milk will do just as well. i do eat baxter's cos i have no other choice and even to that one i add milk. way better than water.

Renowned Thai school shifts to partial online teaching, 500+ fail test
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
no fail policy has been here forever... nothing new. your friend doesnt know what he is talking about. it is a cultural face thing here and not about funding and all the kids and parents here take it for granted. also, most thai and foreign teachers rather than wasting time retesting over and over just fix the books and give the nemrods 50% passing grade -
mushroom and corn are still available even at me tesco. i like the campbell tomato to make neat loaf and spaghetti sauce.

lot a good cambodian campbell's will do. prolly 20 years old... kinda useless and non helpful comment, but i'll tell you why. because it was available before. sorry, i mostly eat like back home, cos i can afford to. usually comments like yours are made by penny pinching wokies who try to convince others their lifestyle of eating somtum is better.

Renowned Thai school shifts to partial online teaching, 500+ fail test
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Having much experience in thai schools i can tell you that the numbers are pretty much spot on. Thai kids almost NEVER prepare for tests and the parents are too busy... cough... sputter... almost keel over... to help supervise their kids. Why would anyone care if they got a free pass before in their time -
Renowned Thai school shifts to partial online teaching, 500+ fail test
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Half failing actually is quite representative of the thai students' abilities. No surprise here. Once again thais wanting a free pass in education... Surprised the school actually failed the kids. This must be a first in this country with its no fail policy and all....- 69 replies

30,000 Baht Lost Due to Incomplete ATM Deposit in Bangkok
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Happened to me. I was parked illegally and had to rush to move my car. The bank let me review the footage and i could see the lucky guy running out of the bank as fast as he could. This was in canada. Next time either not park in a bus zone, or just let the bus wait. On a footnote, i parked illegally because there was no parking available anywhere -

Motorcycle rider assaults passenger after fare dispute in Bangkok
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
So... where is there mention of sexual assault? Did the win guy do anything? Holding onto a motorcycle rider is safer than putting hands behind the back and holding on to the grab bar. Was therd or not an assault? -
Double the retail price. I had looked on shopee but nothing. Thanks for the link. I am still wondering if anyone has seen any on the shelves. Its like Heinz relish... nearly impossinle to find

Has anyone worked as a lecturer in a University?
Pouatchee replied to hydraides's topic in Teaching in Thailand Forum
Depends what you teach and what uni. I worked teaching EFL to year 1-2 students at one of the worst unis in bkk. Salary was low hours stupid and students even more stupid. Teaching load was relatively low and class size around 50. This was before the avent of the smart phone. Must be hell now... For me to do it again the salary and benefits had better be worth it. Hint: stay away from gvt primary and high schools -
this op is about campbell's tomato soup brand. used to be I could find some at makro pattaya, foodland pattaya, friendship and villa pattaya. For the last few years i cant find any anywhere. They just have cream corn or mushroom soup. There are other brands available, bit they just dont make the cut. Anyone else notice how impossible it is to find?

Thailand Grapples with Growing Number of Foreign Beggars
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
You just confirmed that you are from a country that looks down on its 5th 6th 7th 8th etc generation citizens and seeks to replace them with welfare asylum seekers who contribute nothing and just take from those who do. In canada i would be accused of hate speech for what i just wrote. So the ultra woke trudeau gvt has covered all the loose ends and has made sure we must put up and shut up. The quebec gvt is blaming our housing shortage and rent hikes on immigration. We have a 500k immigrant quota a year to meet. Point is, the beggars in canada are not as here... they are multi generational canadians and the way to get rid of them is to submerge them with tickets they cant pay then send them to jail and give them a criminal record making sure they will never be able to hold another job What about you? Sound familiar? -

a shot in the air can be just as deadly. on the show 'a 1000 ways to die' some kid got killed by a stray bullet fired in the air. Guns arent toys as a result all these kiddie cops should have there weapons withdrawn and be forced to walk around like Bobbies in England
