I have 800 000 bht and i have been getting crap interest for the last 4 years. i read here not too long ago of about someone who is going to transfer his money to krung thai, or scb being that they pay better interest. My question is, 'when time come to extend my marriage visa will any bank account do for proof of funds?' Are there restrictions on the kinds of bank accounts one can use? thanks ahead

that is what happens when a country has an open immigration policy. eventually the 4-6th generation natives get replaced by the newly arrived that actually procreate. eventually the original values get thrown out the window and get replaced by new values that will keep the majority happy. seeing that in canada over the last 25 years...

This works really well. Taste is ok and it is ginseng based. Can get at 7/11 dirt cheap. A tablespoon before bed when needed. Don't over do it... as with anything good, too much undoes the good

Political inferno: Move Forward Party risks dissolution
Pouatchee replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
sorry to disagree, but strategising is a sign of political maturity. going after 112 so early, even b4 pita was elected as pm, in this country was immature and cost them everything. i hope they learn from this. if you hail someone who plays chess and reveals his strategies then you are backing a pony that will never win. they got outmaneuvered is the only thing i see. -
Political inferno: Move Forward Party risks dissolution

One thing i did not like about the mfp at first was its political immaturity. As it grows and wisens as a party lets hope they dont make the same mistakes and stick it to puke thai so then guys like @Shoeless Joe can read'em and weep. Must be touhg being shoeless and clueless 🤔 -

so when i ask you if you like taxsin and puke thai this is your answer so, 1 you are a fan of tax sin 2. you are also a lover of puke thai so i guess you support a party that overthrows democracy and supports populist actions to remain in power. mussolini also did tjis, or are you too ignorant to admit what kind of political parties remain in power using such tactics? me wonders who is ignorant here? -

snake head tax sin is getting what he wants. i am curious to see in 3.5 years whether the thais will remember this power play and make puke thai pay, or if they will have already forgot. -

Thailand explores extending emergency coverage to foreign tourists
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
in no way am i a thai bleeding heart... but gotta be fair here. how are tourists, thai or any other denomination, treated by hospitals in the west when they have an accident? i would guess that it is pretty much the same as we are treated here, but we just never hear about it. -
Foreigner Questions Thai Dowry: Netizens Respond
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
As Thai people say, " Ai Kwai!!" why on earth would they say that? in thai culture, as i and many others pointed out, no one needs to pay a dowry if a woman has had children from another man nor if she has been married before. thai culture is strange in many ways. for example, a girl in university, or primary school who has had a child is not supposed to continue going to that school. this is a strange place i have exiled myself to -

Pouatchee replied to Social Media's topic in World News
seems the only ones not protected from hate crimes are caucasian males. its ok to call us racist, misogynistic, chauvinist but there is nothing we can do about it. i just HATE these new legislators with their woke take on life. pretty soon wont be anymore caucasian males left to continue the gene pool -

i used to agree with much of what you said. now, i don't think much of you. what you said in what i quoted, well, it applies to you. no one here is enlightened enough to make stupid comments like this you just made. talking in riddles is just that... riddles narcissists arent usually surrounded by many people. take a good look around yourself
