Thai student suffers brutal punishment for playing game in computer lab
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
smart move, then you would end up behind bars having to pay for his rehab and everything else he claims. my friend in canada beat up his best friend after catching him in bed with his gf. it ruined him for quite a while. first thing he said last time i saw him is that he would never do it again. plenty of people in life talk tough... thankfully it is just talk -
Loan bill to fund “digital wallet” appropriate and poop is appropriate if youre a toilet. indebting thailand to get brownie points with the populace to insure election... never mind this --> so only 2%... how much is that? millions, billions, trillions? will anyone stand up to this obvious crock of excrements?

100% recovery predicted for Thailand’s hospitality sector
Pouatchee replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
so this time it is not the tat... but the tha that is reading a crystal ball. 100% recovery means the ones who went bankrupt will come back, right? not In an exclusive interview, Marisa Sukosol Nunbhakdi, the Thai Hotel Association (THA) President, shared her optimism about Thailand‘s tourism prospects, predicting a remarkable comeback predicting... key word here -
totally agree. unfortunately in my many years here i have read and heard many stories such as this, and even worse, yet these stories do nothing to improve human rights and the human condition here. i feel like thailand is the mexico of south east asia. a few years back, i think ko tao... not sure..., does anyone remember the young woman who was raped and her boyfriend murdered? they tried to blame it on migrant workers... now all is forgotten. my point is, no matter how f'd up things are here nothing will ever change... and it sickens me

hahaha and that is why the newfies were the butt of many jokes back in the 70's -- 80's. they werent known for their intelligence. i guess we had our own thais back in canada... btw i am canadian...

you are totally wrong. i have it and it paid for many surgeries and my medication. also, it does not matter if you have pre-existing conditions as all will be treated with same care. i am fortunate as my hospital has great doctors that are vthe same ones you will see in the high end private hospitals. my guess joepai is that you dont have it... imho the current fool sreta should begin investing in it instead of wasting billions on a hairbrained populist scheme that is the 10 000bht giveaway

you are right... temporary buildings can get TEMPORARY ELECTRICITY AND WATER sorry for caps lck... bvut you wont get a permanent address... you can get the water and electricity but it is at a higher rate per unit. only way to get address permanent or otherwise is to follow process we had to follow. maybe different elsewhere but here this is the procedure. i asked my darling to explain 3 times b4 posting.

i know some who got some years ago. however, now... i would say impossible. i asked for one when reps of a bank came to my school once and they said sure. turns out the only one they would give foreigners was one of those prepaid ones where you put in lets say 100 000bht. then you get to pay all the yearly service charges for the money you put in the bank.,

totally agree except with the 1st poster of my quotes. as a teacher i am fully aware of the shootings in schools in the west. once, while working in a thai school, there were strange looking people walking in the halls. i went to ask my head of department who the hell these characters were. she told me none of my business and why do i care. i tried to make her understand that i was concerned for the students/ she laughed at me and told me this would never happen in a thai school... right... thai schools are impervious to crazies... i quit the next day

my wife and i looked into container and knock down houses before building our house. it is a good cheap solution to getting a 'cheapish' home. the only issue, which can be overcome, is that in order to get a house address we needed to provide to our local area chief the licence that allowed us to build, the picture of the finished house. when all is said and done we finally got the seal of approval from him. finally we went to the tessaban and were given the address. i recommend you talk to your local area chief to see what he wants to see in order to approve your final step... the address. if you dont want an address it is a totally different story

how many days is it going to take them to swallow up what little is left in the seas?

zebra crossings here mean nothing. at a school i worked at a kid got hit at a zebra crossing between the two parts of the school separated by a soi. so, in a nutshell, do not attempt to show who is the boss by insisting on crossing one cos YOU WILL get run over. cars are bigger than you and unfortunately they do not think for themselves. if you have been here a number of years you should have learned that one already, and this is not the first time the topic has been discussed here...

Pouatchee replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Doubtful. Every week new click bait headlines. Seems like they think that people will suddenly materialise cos they said so -

Thailand’s struggle with informal debt likened to modern-day slavery
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
how much was that minimum wage increase again? 2-15 bht a day? or an hour? certainly debtors will get out of debt with such a generous increase thrown their way
