Well see. I put my wife on a mission to find out. My land and house maybe 7 mill total... but i really dont know. As you know thais inflate the sales price. If the gvt did a valuation they prolly would bring the value down a lot. That might help when the boogyman comes a claiming taxes

Anti-Graft Agency Asked To Quizz Senior Officials Over Thaksin Case
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
His goons. Remember taksh!1t held a high office in the police What kind of quizz can they possibly come up with? Multiple choice? My apologies for being vulgar. I hope this dynasty does like the dinosaurs and goes extinct -
My wife says she looked into it a few years ago. first, are your houses registered with a company? second, she says it might have to do with the size of the land and the value of the house... after discussing this with her she will look into it. but, i am not blaming sretta YET, but i am curiously waiting to see what else is in the works with him. this guy is a snake, leave it to a billionaire tax evader to stick it to the populace. i guarantee he knows all the loopholes and knows how to close them.

Considering how puke thai are showing their true colors, i wonder how long before they start collecting land taxes. No one i know has had to pay any, including my wife and me. Prayut talked about it 3-4 years ago but decided not to add financial burden on the thais. I dont think sretta will be this generous considering his 10 000bht giveaway he has to finance

Do i need a degree to teach in high school ?
Pouatchee replied to steph83's topic in Teaching in Thailand Forum
you definitely need a degree to teach in a school and more so to get a teaching licence. i think you can only get 2 2year waivers and then you are out. gotta check to be sure. i have had my five year licence for 15 years now so not sure about temporary waivers. language schools have different requirements -

good point. i have often wondered how many older foreigners i cross every day got their parents' inheritance. my old man is 94 and my mom is 83. it is unlikely i will see anything for the 20 next years or so. and even then they will likely have squandered it on retirement homes. other than that, if i actually care to compare myself to others here i am quite poor.

dude, ONE of the reasons many are broke, or deadbeats as you say, is because they, or family, have been ruined by this unfair medical establishment in the states that overcharges for everything from treatment to medication. nothin top do with lenin when a loved one is dying of cancer without treatment, or morphine/pain killers. have you ever seen anyone terminal? skin and bones doesnt describe it. everyone should be entitled to basic amenities and the right to treatment is one of them

Chinese tourists search for new experiences in Thailand
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
i dont go out so i cant say. but... according to stickman's website the bar fines and short time costs with a bar girl have apparently gone up significantly. could the chinese in search of new experiences be the culprits behind these price hikes? -
