You should update to the latest version of the app.
The plugin for the apps was disabled yesterday due to problems with the forum.
I can go on with the latest android app but it does says no topics when I select a forum. This is the newest most recently updated app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quoord.tapatalkthaivisaa.activity&hl=en
Same on iOS Joe, I can go on but no topics on any forum also notifications not working.

I've deleted and reloaded the app on my iPhone and still not working.
any update on this?
Since it came back online ( briefly ) the issue has changed, before it constantly asked for password now it just doesn't show content.
So, it's buggered !!
Whatever happened to if it ain't broke don't fix it ?

Just finished season one of Quacks ( Victorian doctors comedy ) on iPlayer , an unusual subject for a comedy but I found it to be very entertaining and refreshing.

I joined for information on visas etc.
Now I'm on it for information about anything really !!, DIY, Internet providers, immigration, travel, where to find things in general.
Plus, good conversation on food, comedy, television, music etc.
I do try to put back as much as I gain and hopefully I have helped someone along the way.
I steer clear of the argumentative threads, after all if I wanted to have an argument every day I would have stayed with the " ex" !!

I'm a member of a couple of other forums that seem to run smoothly enough, what's the problem with TVF?

The app wasn’t working for about four days last week for me, either on my iPad or phone. I could get on on the website but prefer the app. Relieved it’s all sorted now!
Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa ConnectI should check it again if I were you, it seems to be down again !!
Or maybe just me ?

Yup, that was short lived !!

I use the Thaivisa Connect app and find it very easy to navigate, I also tried Tapatalk as I had a problem that Connect ( now resolved) and I found that easy too.
Thaivisa.com on my phone seems alien to me and was glad to see Connect app ( and Tapatalk ) back up and running.
Although notifications are not working for me on Connect I still prefer it over the website ( on my iPhone ).

TV Connect app now back up and running, only the notifications doesn't appear to be working, mine is only up to March 31, Hey Ho !!
Tapatalk seems to be back up and running though, as before I'll flit between the two ! -

nice and easy and relaxing border hop
what was Dream Home Hill like, i haven't stayed there . i think i stopped at fun dee.
Cos I'm on an O-A this visa run was a bit of a one off but it turned out a very good little trip.
Went to Erawan waterfall afterwards and walked the 7 stages ( 2 km of steps and winding footpaths ) now in another resort near Erawan as going straight to Nakhon Sawan after to visi family.
Erawan is pretty good, I recommend, lots of swimming with the fishes !!

Just asked the gf to make sure and apparently we stopped at Home Hill Fun Dee.
it was the first one we saw, didn't see any others but I remember someone talking about the hot springs on another thread so there must be.
i think I didn't really go up the hill far enough to see others, but Fun Dee was okay, good internet and the owner was very pleasant.

Never a great Corrie fan , or any soaps actually, but the few times I did see it I found Jack and Vera to be a very comical couple who, no doubt, brought a lot of happiness to the regular viewers.
RIP Liz

They own another house in Pattaya and with their Thai/German son got back to Phuket about 3 or 4 days ago, their son flew back to Germany where he works and then this happened. The old fella had alzheimer's and his wife is well known to have psychological problems and prone to violent outbreaks for no reason at all. A sad state of affairs all round.
RIP old fella.
Thanks for the explanation.
Alzheimer's can be very frustrating to deal with but violence is not the answer.
RIP Johann.

So, I went to Kanchanaburi, a few selfies on the bridge, lunch at the floating restaurant ( 299 baht per person, good ), off to Sai Yok Yai for a little relax.
Then off to Dream Home Hill near border for some shut eye !!
This morning, drive to the border ( 5 mins ), walk up to Departure window for stamp, walk 10 yards to Travel Service, lady asked me " visa run ? " .
Paid 960 baht, she filled new departure/arrival card in , pick up drives me 5 km then through a border control gate ( no action required by me ) into Myanmar, onto very rough dirt road for approx 1 km into a village/shopping area, driver disappeared with my passport for 5 minutes, then comes back with Myanmar entry and exit stamp.
Back to Thailand, stamped in until 25th September 2018 , yey!!
Very painless and took about 30 minutes.

Elton John must be suffering from constant melancholy, since he must have realised, that his first album "Tumbleweed Connection" was the best he ever put out.
Cheers.Tumbleweed was actually Elton's third album after Empty Sky and Elton John.
Elton John ( album ) was the most melancholy of all his albums in my opinion.
But, Daniel is the song which most makes me melancholy, my elder brother was a huge Elton fan and when he died aged 22 ( me,19)
my parents would play Elton's songs religiously.
" Lord I miss Daniel, oh I miss him so much
Daniel my brother you are older than me
Do you still feel the pain of the scars that won't heal
Your eyes have died but you see more than I
Daniel you're a star in the face of the sky " -

I'm concerned that The Dark Lord hasn't been heard from for some time. Anyone know.....................................?
So, one more "good thing" consigned to the dust of history. Farewell to all that contributed to a brilliant thread.
Yes, this was one of the better threads IMHO .
A final word from Dark Lord would round it off nicely . ( hopefully he hasn't got his hands on the keys to the Audi and gone out driving Thai style !! ? )

Gilmour ripping the place up then things turn weird.....
Part of the Atom Heart Mother suite off AHM album.
Does get a little weird but I love this track as well as Echoes and Shine On.
As you've guessed I like the longer tracks !!
Here's one from 1969 that is a little different from their usual stuff.
