I did join a FB group about Jolion in Australia but they have only recently got the Hybrid there so not too much info. Although I did see one thread quoting poor mileage figures ( 700km on a full tank of 91 fuel, a 55L fuel tank I think ) and being on a par with the mileage of the petrol versions which wasn’t very encouraging.

As the title suggests I am looking for any feedback from anyone who owns a GWM Haval H6 or Jolion . Anything either good or bad related to the car’s reliability , comfort , mileage etc or aftermarket service etc . TIA Andy

Steven The procedure you described is normal to obtain an O visa from a visa exempt entry, I did the same last month. I would check your return date of November 23rd as that is a longer time than usual, normally it is 15 days from application to receiving the O visa stamp, mine was 17 days. Are you sure the return date is not October 23rd .

Not in my case although not at CW. My O visa begins when it was issued, 10 days after application and 7 days before my pick up date, Ayutthaya IO. A friend also went thru the same procedure at Sisaket IO and his O visa begins on the day it was issued, 8 days after applying.

I would say you have to visit, or contact, your immigration office to determine what they will accept ( 40/400k or 3 million coverage ) and buy accordingly. The old coverage was 40k outpatient and following the in depth post by @pablo el sueco out patient on the new coverage is 60k , at 2k per visit.

The renewal notice I received in September from LMG stated 3.5 million baht with 60k baht outpatient.

Well he does make a lot of predictions and isn’t always right as can be seen from this video where he states ( twice ) that the new 45 day visa exempt entry will give an extension of an additional 45 days !! Is that the same guy that was giving out some dodgy information on the OA insurance deal, general consensus was he was wrong and just touting for business. Plenty of successful conversions to an O visa done recently, myself included. This seems more of a rogue immigration office/official making life difficult for whatever reason.

Had a walk by Galare today, it’s been bought out and currently being turned into the River View bar and restaurant. Some rooms will be retained for possibly rent out at a later date but currently unsure.
