    Used to be a big movie buff. There used to be so many good movies to choose from, sadly that is all gone now. Can barely find 5 movies I want to watch in a years time now. When you start valuing the person's skin tone, or gender or sexual identification over talent, you get the crappy films that are made today.

    I think Thailand should ban alcohol and make recreational weed 100% legal. It would make for a happier, healthier, less violent country.

    No, but I did study Buddhism many years ago. I was invited to be a monk but I declined, too many no-no's for me. But if your really looking at a way to assimilate into Thai culture as the title states, then I think it's the best way for you. Even just for 3 months will cleanse your body and soul.

    Definitely become a monk, it will open your eyes in ways you couldn't imagine.

    I've used them a few times pre-covid and thought it was a great service. Don't know why people aren't using them much anymore, my only guess would be that with the new tax situation, maybe less people are staying long term.

    There's some nice hotels in Subic, go to Texas Joe's in Subic for a GREAT steak.
