even after a factory reset it is crashing every few minutes to the TV/no source screen. I guess I must send it back? Any recommendations for a wifi model would be nice !
If it kicks you to the tv/ no source screen something is wrong with the HDMI connection, or the box closes down completely, so yes send it back before it's too late.
Very simple procedure, where you activate the return on the Lazada website, print out the form and send back by post office without paying anything.
If you look for a decent box with a WORKING kodi, and including remote support and updates, feel free to send me a PM.

I guess you are using an Android device as mentioned by Allstars? Right mouse click contextual menu for favorites and delete is a nuisance with an ordinary mouse unless you have a common Android remote with the right click button (hamburger symbol) on it or a touch screen device Android tablet (long touch). A lot easier on a PC.
You can remap the right mouse in Kodi so that it works same as on Windows.
Take note that if you remap, the return and context button on the original remote will switch as well.

unknowingly i had a moderately spiced pumpkin soup (part of a set menue) a couple of years ago. the taste was excellent. if i had known before what it was i wouldn't have tried a single spoon.
Well, food goes through the mouth, not the brain.
That's what many people overlook.

I bought in on Lazada, this would be 3/6 of the electronics I ordered from them with serious issues. Did a factory reset but it only goes to the android logo now will attempt to load it with the programs again, else return it if possible. Thanks for the guide!
You have 1 week toi return and get a full refund from Lazada, that is what I would start with.
If you rely on a wifi connection, then for sure don't order a box with internal antenna.

Now I'm very new to using Kodi....only about a week on Kodi 16.1 and then switched to Kodi 17 Krypton a few weeks ago so I'm like a kid trying to learn how to ride the Kodi bicycle. I've been using primary Exodus for my movie watching.
When seeing this thread I thought to myself, yea, moving around in Kodi can be a pain especially for a novice such as myself. With this mention of adding Exodus to my Favorites I gave it a try. Couldn't figure out anyway to add the Exodus icon to Favorites but you can add the Exodus subfolders like Movies, TV Shows, etc.
So I add the move Martian....it's now in my favorites. OK, let me delete that entry....I can't figure it out....a right mouse click to bring up a submenu to possibly delete does not appear....pressing the delete key does not help. Did some googling...found below webpage that showed me how and it works to delete a favorite. But it sure seems it would have been easier just to allow a right mouse click to pull up a delete selection. Oh well, back to trying to learn to ride Kodi 17.

Right mouse doesn't work in Android unless you insert a keymap

said there were 27,000 protitutes in the city, or one in five of the female population
Their calculator must have crashed if they believe this number to be correct.
One in five females may be right, but only a blind man would believe there are only 135K females in Pattaya

Not possible anymore since quite long.
You would get an extension until August (expiry date) and then do a completely new application with your new passport.
Thanks, last time was 2012.
So that means twice all the paperwork and twice 1900 Baht?
Will get my new passport first then, but it's quite a disadvantage, because our passports are only 5 year of which I will now lose another 6 months
-
I soon need to renew my retirement extension but my passport expires in August.
Last time this happened it wasn't an issue as they first gave me till August, and in August they stamped the remaining months in my new passport.
Is this still possible or has something changed?

I do not see any Thai attitude got changed for the worse in lets say the last ten years.again we talking a news item about a problem in a bar.We do not talk about all other bars where last night was no problem at all.
I'm not talking about bars at all. I'm talking about non tourist areas

in olden times, in the 70s and early 80s Thailand was completely different. i'm not only referring to Thais but also to foreigners who visited the country. mutual respect prevailed no matter who or what the person was.
I have a friend who has lived here for 25 years. Not a bar goer, but had a steel construction company in Ban Chang with over 1000 Thai employees at the height of his business.
He sold the business 5 years ago, and will leave to the UK with his Thai wife this year.
He told me Thailand has changed to a point it isn't bearable any more. Take note, he speaks fluent Thai and doesn't sit in front of his tv all day.

I recently upgraded from their 50/10 plan to 200/80, as it was roughly 200 baht cheaper per month. I've had the old plan for a couple years and it has been rock solid, always full speed, never any downtime. However after the "upgrade" my download speeds are less than half of what they used to be! The Ookla speed test clearly shows 200/80 within Thailand, but far far less to servers outside of Thailand. My real world tests - using jdownloader from various global sites - indicate the same - I'm not even able to reach 2MB/s. So it appears the int'l bandwidth contention ratio on the new plan is much higher. Now I'm regretting making the change
That's why it's cheaper. The international bandwidth cost money, while the national bandwidth is paid for already of course.
The same logic is applied with 50Mb 3BB VDSL packages which give you 50 Mb download within Thailand, but a much lower international speed than a 18Mb 3BB ADSL package.
They still try to make people believe that actually any webserver is located in Thailand, and of course they get away with that with the Thai xenophobes.
Since I sell and install Kodi boxes I'm often confronted with this, by customers telling me that they have a 50Mb fibre connection but get buffer on live streams.
I then explain to them that all streams come from outside Thailand and if they really believe they get 50Mb they should do a speed test to Europe server.
On customer who had a 50Mb AIS Fiber, got 2.2 Mb to London.

Errr Pulse TV's website doesn't include a business address, registration number etc. I think you can assume it's dodgy.
Every IPTV that offers Sky sports or the like for streaming in Thailand is dodgy, as there is no legal way to make Sky sports available.
That said, the end user will never have to fear anything, as it would be an impossible task to trace all of them and then prove they use the service.

If you do a search here on TV you will find posters mentioning "the storm that's certain to come" every year since 2005.
Yet here we are, 12 years later, still waiting...
In 2005 there was rarely a project behind schedule, unless it was a right out scam, now 90% of the projects are behind schedule and not just a few months.

I look at rental yield for an indication of a coming storm, and it is now at 3%.
Not long now.
During the sub-prime fiasco of the US, their rental yield was near 4%. That's a market that is less sticky and relies much on debts to finance speculation.
Bangkok only needs one more wave of development to see queues at the Consumer Protection Board about abandoned projects.
Those in Pattaya and Phuket has started.
I have a friend who supplies a specific item to most of the projects going in Pattaya, and he told me that most of the projects that aren't finished yet are in big doodoo. Some will be able to keep their head above water ( read satisfy the bank ), as they are already in an advanced phase of the project and sell units at far reduced prices, but many are behind bank payments already and probably will be confiscated at some time.

Tropo, you can close the thread now. Rob has a top of the line something and has thus adjudicated... :)
Depending on the English language capabilities of the speaker and if she is saying at rather than a, then if it was a go-go, I would expect her to say his wife work go-go rather than his wife work at go-go. By saying at it suggests to me she may be saying the name of a workplace rather than the type of work place.
Your comment would qualify if she actually said AT, but what she says is He wife work Agogo.
Never heard a Thai with mediocre English language skills say AT in all me years in Thailand by the way

My experience with water filtration is minimal and that's why I'm asking, but from my understanding ion-exchange resin filters do remove calcium and one of the three stages can have a resin filter. The big question becomes how effective will it be?
Resin filter have to regenerated with brine. Big blue filters are much too small to be effective as hardness remover as it would needed to be regenerated every few days.

How about just fire all the police
That would be a good start.
Last week around 5.30 pm I am driving on highway 7 direction Bangkok just past the Nongrue toll booths.
Traffic was not heavy but all lanes had cars.
At one point an old model Camry, with light blue tail lights by the way, passes over the left side hard shoulder at what I guess must have been at least 150km/h.
He continues like this for as far as I can see, however about 3 - 400 meter ahead a car of the highway police is travelling, and he passes that car as well over the hard shoulder at high speed.
The police car didn't even attempt to chase the car.
