Nah, just set up automatic deduction from your bank account.
PEA leaves your bill in the box outside, then pulls the charge from your authorized account.
Did that two years ago.
Best alternative for those with permanent addresses.

Interesting
He has a good point.
The IRS should stop collecting taxes because so many people cheat on them.
Thailand is way ahead of the curve on all this as they have many many laws on the books that they never attempt to enforce.

I enjoy it when an ordinary woman makes her own living selling food on the street while a spoilt office graduate sinks into the debts of her consumerist obsession.
You have unusual proclivities. Those who 'enjoy' the suffering of others are usually quite unhappy themselves.

Congratulations! You are the first to offer a real drug name.
I'm copying the pix to send to my pharmacists. I have a long air trip in April to USA and I need something.
Thanks!

When I said hundreds I meant other bars too ,wasn't hundreds but it looked a lot of farang in opposite bars too.
I actually felt good though when I left and jumped on a motorbike taxi to leave ,I felt like I had achieved something, but I will never know because I didn't see him leave the bathroom
It's hard to explain but I felt like it was me that made a impact on someone's life ,it's almost I feel responsible, I could really see it "hurt" him as he left his hands under the tap as he looked at me stunned ,it felt good for me
So you are a sadist as well as a pretentious busybody.

Is this the medication many take to sleep on a long haul flight?
Yep. 2mg Lorezapam.
It's great on long flights.
Actually it's great for sleeping but it is without question addictive in the long term.

Turn the mains off, pull the old valve apart, probably one of 2 "O" rings letting water bye. I took the rings off, carefully put a bit of glue in the ring groove, then put them back on. Bit of grease on the rings, reassemble..
I fixed mine a couple of times until it didn't work. An easy job...
There are metric O-ring assortments sold on Lozada. I've used mine several times.
Just try buying them locally. Apparently they are considered space shuttle parts too.

Yet I’m almost certain that you own lots of Chinese junk, just like the majority of folks all over the world.
Of course I do. If you live in Thailand so do you.
As I said, direct experience.

Because the actual owners of Chinese ev think they are good quality and are better priced and often better spec’d than European/yank ev.
They also seem to be readily available in Thailand.
Almost everything readily available in Thailand is made in China.
That's how I have formed my opinion of chinese product quality.
I have no reason to believe that they make cars any better than their other junk.
It's called direct experience.

After a lifetime of disappointment with chinese products, I am very hesitant to buy a chinese ev, in fact I won't. Just got burned at mr diy the other day. Buy chinese, buy twice...or even three times. Nothing against the chinese personally, but they aren't exactly known for putting quality first. Imo, they never, ever pass any value on to the customer. Every single corner will have been cut and any "deal" you think you might be getting is sure to show its true colors down the road, with disappointment, regret, annoyance, and in the case of cars maybe even safety issues. Chinese business practice = if the customer isn't pissed off, kicking and screaming, feeling like they got screwed, then they(the chinese) didn't do their job and left money on the table.
Also, really have to question the logic behind putting huge glass sunroofs on any car, much less an ev in a tropical country like Thailand. Are they cool on hot days? Is there any Thai person who wants to get sun in their face while they are driving? The thought of sitting in traffic in bright sunlight with my head heating up while getting cold air blasted on me sounds absolutely nauseating. Noticed the Teslas are the same. Imagine the aircon uses a lot of battery to fight against the blasting midday heat in Thailand. Can't be good for the range. Not sure what they are thinking with this design other than add more gimmicky stuff to jack the price up.
I'm looking forward to buying an ev, but it's still a few years away for me.
I regret that I could only give you one trophy icon.
You nailed it right on the head.
I agree with all you said except the last sentence. I'll do my best to never own an EV and with the time I've got left I will probably succeed!

I don't have an electric car, but I do have experience of an electric scooter that has put me off an EV.
While it's convenient, quiet and fun, it's range has reduced significantly over one year of ownership.
It has a lithium battery and a smart charger, and at first an overnight charge would give me about 30km range (claimed range was 40km).
After 12 months the range has dropped to about 15km. And the battery behaviour has also changed .... it shows full charge for about 14km, then suddenly drops into the red and stops.
It may take longer for an electric car to have the same issue, but my experience with other battery devices such as phones and cameras makes me believe that current battery tech has longevity issues.
I don't know about their electric
cars but I know for sure Chinese batteries suck out loud.
As an electronic engineer starting with vacuum tubes I've been waiting all my career for the promised 'perfect battery technology '.
I'm retired now and still waiting.
FWIW, I want no part of electric cars at this point in their technology curve. I've worked with electronics and computers long enough to cure me of being an early adopter.

Actually cobras (which yours wasn't) are one of most shy snakes here.
It is usually much faster and easier to just use a broom to sweep them outside. They don't really want to be there either.
But if it makes you feel like a man......

The simple answer is to renounce your US citizenship. That way your worldwide income will no longer be taxable by the US and you won't have this sort of additional compliance issues.
All you need then is another passport.
Without one you can't even leave the USA.

Just do it.
I had one done at San Paulo hospital in hua hin a few months ago.
Procedure was quick and professional.About $600USD.

The cost is insane. I did it once the first time I came here. Never again.
Ditto for using a foreign credit card for cash at an ATM.

I would need to be multi-millionaire status (just 2), to live in my home country. 1M for a house in southern FL and hope that's enough. The other million for playing nomadic tourist a few months of the year, when stormy season is there, June through to end of November. Too damn hot anyway.
Although, if I had 2M liquid, why waste it on high price RE & taxes in USA, as better options elsewhere.
So guess that would be a big NO ... never would return. Have way too much pocket money right here, and don't miss anything.
After living in Thailand for 6 years coming from the US I'm quite happy to stay here and I'm going home next month to sell my house and leave nothing there but a mailing address and a bank account. I'll be looking up old friends and telling them goodbye because I don't plan to ever come back there. There's just no appeal to living there anymore and prices are just way too high.

One thing I love most about ASIAN washing machines, including the old TaTung washing machines from Taiwan, is that they always tie one's clothes into knots during the wash.
This never happened to me when I was young, on The Main Line, using quality machines with a far better design.
These days, after each wash, it takes me about 5 minutes to untangle the knots in my clothes.
In addition, this knotting method of washing clothes can, in my opinion, have nothing but a very deleterious effect on the life of one's clothing.
Therefore, I must assume that the washing machine companies must be "in league" with the Asian clothes manufacturers....
Because, the quicker we have our clothes worn down to nothing, the better for the clothing industry.
Also, why don't we use the machines which rotate horizontally instead of vertically?
Good question!
Those machines which have drums which are horizontal are far more efficient and effective than the Samsung garbage most of us are forced to use here in Thailand, when resorting to the COIN-OP Option.
Regards,
Gamma
Front load washers must use a rotating seal to keep the water from dumping out. If the seal really works washer is more expensive than a top loading model and more trouble to deal with. If the seal isn't top quality it still wears and fails sooner. Top load washers need no such seal.

The laws may have changed since I submitted the TM 30 several years ago when I was renting a house in chaham. The immigration officer in told me to fill out the form the bottom part of the form myself and submitted and I didn't need any signatures or paperwork from my landlord. So I did that successfully several times and I've now since bought a house so I can use the Blue Book.
I suggest going to your immigration office and asking explicitly if you can fill the forms yourself.
Good luck and I hope it works out for you.

Two excellent questions.
Through most of my adult life I assumed that I would never collect any social security benefits at all.
At 74 I have been drawing it for 7 years, and living here I seldom spend even half of it each month.
On the other hand, if the government in America turns Orange this year I thinks all bets on continued SS payments are off. Same for Medicare and Democracy.
As far as being able to stay here long term it's a daily crap shoot.
The world being the same as we know it over the next 30 years? :
Not a snowball's chance in hell of that.
