Thailand has a hard job on this front, as the US is obviously rightly wary of Thailand's closeness to China and its usual fence sitting trying to play both sides. Also, Thailand slaps tariffs on every imported item, it varies wildly from product to product regarding how much, but clearly Thailand will have to accept reciprical tariffs at the very least... canit have it both ways. The real thing they have to convince the US of is the origin-washing/transshipping issue, as trust is minimal on this one and much sneakiness will be employed by the Chinese to get around it... probably with the help of ASEAN countries, hence why the tariffs will be higher here, just to make sure.

No point keep posting these scare stories as the the public's trust and respect for the WHO, big pharma, and the medical industry in general has seriously erroded in the last five years. For example, who listens to what the CCP stooge Ted Dross of the WHO says anymore?

Okay, the women are a big positive, but there's more to it than that. Many guys just want to leave their past behind and reinvent themselves or try to build an alternative or new life, try again... which I don't see why that is wrong, fair play. There is also the stretching your money more in a place that is generally safe with a great climate that pretty much leaves you alone as long as you are not a Richard (although Thailand is becoming increasingly expsensive). Also, many western countries are becoming increasingly, well, problematic to live in with all the immigration, sky-high taxes, lack of social cohesion etc., and quite frankly anti-older people sentiment... the young are slowly starting to dislike older people because they worked, saved, and control everything, with the kiddies wanting everything now without working for it. I got out long ago as I saw the writing on the wall, but I totally agree with anyone who has had enough and wants to reinvent their life somewhere else like this... just have to realise that nowhere is perfect and Thailand has its caveats too, plus you need a mindset that has latitude and tolerance, but also a little suspicious as scams are everywhere. Horses for courses obviously, but the petty bureaucracy and anal paperwork is annoying as Thailand moves on a sea of paper and information, which is a big turn-off imo.

The UK needs to stop digging and put the spade down as the hole is getting too big to climb out of. You want diversity, well, good luck with all the intolerance and lack of intergration that brings... you reap what you sow and the UK is becoming a disfunctional benefits system country with a weak economy, that rewards uselessness and work-shy people at the expence of people who graft and save. That is a dangerous situation to be in, as the pushback will eventually be strong... or everyone useful will just flee/riot. The far-left in Europe will facilitate the rise of their opposite as the rot will continue to go so far due to the liberal elite's failure to address problems people really care about, that a new generation plus the disillusioned will opt for the opposite instead, always like this... which is why the answers are to be found in the middle, not too hot and not too cold as the extrtemes on both sides only offer failure. You would have thought politicians and the public would have worked this out by now, instead of this mindset that everyone who came before them were stupid and we can get it right this time by doing the same thing... reminds me of Einstein's definition of Insanity.

Thailand, and a few other Asian countries, are the type of places that you just have do the "whatever" response, or you will end up nuts... a good anology is "It's like lying down in a stream and just letting the water flow over you". That doesn't mean you have to like everything or can't be critical, but it means you have to just let it go.... many people are wrapped far too tight for here, and probably too tight for where they came from for that matter, but had expectations it would be different. One thing many people struggle with is unrealistic expectations and a difficulty to accept difference in culture... some can hack it, some can't. To have longevity here, you need open mindedness, tolerance, acceptance, willingness to learn and latitude on a whole bunch of stuff, and many people simply don't have that, as they are a product of the western self-centered "Me" culture and my rights etc. South East Asia is great for many, but not all, and it all depends on you and your mindset. However, nothing new here for those that have resided here a long time and endured.

Well, just the intolerance of the left... just remember how all far-left socialist governments end up in death, oppession, and famine throughout history... even existong ones are a mess (think Cuba/Venezuela etc.). There is no difference between the far-left and the far-right... Stalin's communist Russia killed even more than Hilter, and then you have Mao, who managed more than anyone ever. The answers are to be found in the middle... scientists call it "the Goldilocks zone", which is not too hot and not too cold, just right.

Musk is clearly super clever and successful... but with that comes caveats, same for all great inventors/artists/thinkers/boundry pushing types, and those caveats are often personal flaws, like ego/drunkeness/delusions of grandeur etc. Musk, like many in the modern world, should stick to what they are good at and not fall into the trap of because you are good at one thing means you should be listened to on all topics. Another example of this is musicians that get political, people aren't interested in your politics, they like your music... so stand down, as most people find it irritating when someone who has no experience in something starts mouthing off or lectures everyone on something they are unqualified to do so. Yes, people on forums etc. give there opinion but that on a tiny scale, but these types use their platform they got for something else to spout off about something they know no more about than "Bob" down the pub. We don't ask nurses about soldiering or plumbers about gardening... we ask those who know about it. Muppets up their own backsides everywhere now.

Islam and Islamic influence should be cut out of western culture because of the incompatibilty of it and the danger it pose to all, as it is diametrically opposed to all our values and holds nothing but contempt for us. Don't like it or our culture? Then you know where the airports are, and there are plenty of ways to get to the Middle East etc. where you'll be happier... good riddance.

The Thais want to get the same deal as Vietnam... and Vietnam basically dropped all tariffs on US goods to zero, agreed to 40% on any goods deemed to be from elsewhere by the US at 40%, and still 20% on all Vietnamese goods. Thailand is going to have to take a deep breath and swallow hard to emulate that... and Thailand is nowhere near as strategicly important to the US as Vietnam is.

Well, Thailand can hardly complain about this as it puts tariffs on all foreign goods to silly extents and it's not just cars, it's everything... can't have it both ways. Maybe some introspection is needed Thailand.

This is all a scam and about making an industry that swallows up billions for the eco-nuts, governments, and environment companies. The UK emits less than 1% of global emissions, so anything Millinutcase does makes no difference until you get China, the US, India, and Brazil onboard with stuff... and that's not going to happen. Even recycling is a scam, most plastic cannot be recycled, and the small amount that can, can only be recycled twice at best and it can't be mixed with other types. It's actually best if you just landfill it, not scam everyone about "recycling", or they then quietly ship it off to third world countries who then just burn it outside and release way more pollution. Have a look at this pic below... we all know this symbol, and it means nothing. What is important is the number displayed in the center... anything above 2 means it can't be recycled. Micheal Moore was right with his documentary titled "Planet of the Humans"... exposes the scam that it is and it has got to the point where it employs so many people, and generates billions for politicians and environmental groups, that it can't now be stopped. Don't believe me, look it up and watch Moore's documentary.
