The only way to guarantee proportional representation for minorities is to have quotas.

And if he'd said it like that it would be a bit more palatable. Instead he chose ranting and repeating the word 'WHITE' about 9 times. That's incitement, plain and simple. Btw, there's only about 5% ethnic minorities in Scotland. Scotland has had nowhere near the amount of immigration as England, so why would he (you) expect ethnic minorities to hold the top positions? Scotland is not London. Scotland has a tiny proportion of ethnic minorities. Why would Yousaf expect minorities in all those top positions when there are such small numbers of ethnic minorities in Scotland? To be fair you could say this about both sides. There are people on here who ignore everything bad that Hamas has done and continues to do.

I thought I read that Hamas refused to even confirm the number/names of hostages they're holding, let alone release them. That prevents a ceasefire from being possible. I don't understand why Hamas are being given such an easy ride in the propaganda war when they have shown zero signs of wanting peace in the region. Hamas' use of human shields is paying off spectacularly. No doubt other Islamist groups will use these actions as a blueprint for success in the future, especially given how the mass media have taken their side now.

I quite like reading the Bob threads. I mostly find them amusing, and I don't really care if the stories are true or not. It makes a nice break from all the doom and gloom going on. There are some posters on here who wind me up and have polar opposite views to mine, but without them AN would be boring for me. Those getting angry about Bob, be careful what you wish for. Gold diggers to me are women from ordinary backgrounds in developed countries targeting rich men. A Phili girl trying to escape extreme poverty by hooking up with a western man is not a gold digger IMO. That's more like a survival instinct.

There is man (?) who works at one of the large investment banks in London, and he spends half the week as Philip and the other half of the week as Pippa. His career has flourished since the Trans movement became so prominent. He even wins women's banking awards (depriving women of winning them). He has a wife and kids, and says they are all supportive (ok....). So he's not homosexual. Is he Trans? Or just kinky? Either way, he's done very well for himself because the banks need to tick boxes for diversity.

You raise an important point there. If you don't have any heirs then I guess it's less of a gamble. If you have kids and you stake the bulk of your wealth on a convoluted property deal, you could end up leaving nothing for your kids. I'd like to leave something for my daughter in the UK, as it's probably the only way she'll get on the property ladder (Gen Z are screwed in the UK). Property in the UK (and other developed western countries) is an appreciating asset. Whereas however you buy property in Thailand you'll end up with less/nothing, in most cases. Happy to be proved wrong - I'm only going by what I've read over the years.

Fair points, but by focussing on what the ladies might have been doing wrong (being in KSR, maybe wearing sexy clothes), it makes it sound like you're siding with the two blokes. Personally I wouldn't grope women on the street uninvited, no matter how they were dressed. Most real men grew out of that sort of behaviour by the time they were 16 years old. Lee Anderson has nothing to apologise for. He raised legitimate concerns about Khan's apathy towards extremist behaviour while constantly banging on about Islamophobia. Khan behaves as though the extremists have him in their pocket, and Anderson was brave enough to call him out on it. He later went on to say his words were clumsy, but he finds it hard to contain his frustration about what's happening in our capital. Most people I know agree with his sentiments.

And Hester's comments were made 5 years ago. And he's formally apologised. But I suppose because he's not a leftie he should never be forgiven. P.S. Dianne Abbot also insulted Jews and Irish people. And she still sits in Parliament!

Is Rambuttri Alley the road that goes around the temple grounds? Spent a daytime there last year having a few beers. Nice chilled out leafy area. I liked it. I'd never been there, but one of the mates I was with said he used to stay in the guest houses down there about 20 yrs ago. He wanted us to book rooms down there - he was reminiscing about the good old days. That was until we checked out a couple of the rooms. Bathrooms were the size of a broom cupboard with a toilet and a hand held shower attachment over the sink. It made me realise we had simpler needs in our earlier visits to LOS 😆 Does it liven up at night?

Frank Hester was an idiot for saying that. He said it about 5 years ago which is around the time that Abbot was making some more of her own racist remarks about white people. So I imagine Hester was trying to say that she talks in a very divisive way, i.e. turns white people against black people. Which she does. But for a prominent business man and high profile Tory donor to be so clumsy with his words, he deserves all he gets.

Lee Anderson did indeed support that idea. But you said it yourself - 'mid-stream'. We're not in the middle of a parliament. He's switched parties just before a General Election, so there's no need for a by-election. It would waste millions in tax payer's money holding a by-election which would be immediately made null and void by a GE. It would be insane to hold a by-election now!

I can only see one Asian girl in those photos. How did he manage to find such an awful representation of the Asian female? Maybe he's into big hands.
