Kneecap also urged people to kill their local (Tory) MP. Two Tier Keir seems happy to let that one go. Disgraceful considering what happened to David Amess and Jo Cox. Rap trio Kneecap will not be charged for allegedly calling on people to "kill your local MP", London's Metropolitan Police has said. https://www.rte.ie/news/ireland/2025/0630/1521006-kneecap-terrorism-charge/

Why aren't the lefty activists shouting death to Hamas? Hamas have ruled over Palestinians with fear and brutality, they treat women like slaves, kill gays, caried out the 7th Oct atrocities, still holding hostages etc etc. Hamas clinging desperately to power is prolonging the war. Wake up lefties!

Rubbish. The point is that if there's a Muslim candidate ALL Muslims will vote for that candidate. That is the MO for Muslims, they stick rigidly with their own when it comes to voting. So Khan has a HUGE head start for every mayoral election. Then you add in the lefties and the die hard Labour voters and he's nailed on to win very time. You don't get this with any other religious or racial group. Blacks will not ALL vote for the black candidate. Christians will not ALL back the Christian candidate. As for Khan doing a good job for London, I can only assume that was a tongue-in-cheek comment Mamdani is going to have the same head start as Khan.

Thailand’s Losing Its Edge — Is Vietnam the Next Real Deal?

I know what is ridiculous. Expecting Thai massage ladies to stop calling out 'massage' 🤦♂️ -
Thailand’s Losing Its Edge — Is Vietnam the Next Real Deal?

I've only been to Vietnam a couple of times, and only to HCMC. I didn't feel the same sense of freedom in Vn that you get in Thailand, especially around the nightlife where I was told (by locals) the bars could be raided any time by police wanting to crack down hard on fun. I was strongly advised not to get caught up in a raid! Maybe it's different these days, and the authorities are more relaxed over there? Or maybe I need to venture further than HCMC. -
Thailand’s Losing Its Edge — Is Vietnam the Next Real Deal?

Why move to another country and wait 10 years hoping the natives will change their ways, and behave the way YOU want them to behave? Just remember, you chose Thailand, Thailand didn't choose you. P.S. I assume your username is meant to be irony? You don't sound like a happy camper 🙂 -
Do you believe Iran should be trusted to continue with their nuclear program? Given their track record of backing multiple terror groups around the ME, do you think the Iranian regime would hesitate to use nuclear weapons against Israel? I dread the thought of all out war, but I'd rather see it now with 'conventional' weapons than waiting for Iran to launch nukes at Israel. Now that really would be the end game! Iran has long maintained that its nuclear programme is for peaceful, civilian purposes only. This week, the watchdog's board of governors formally declared Iran in breach of its non-proliferation obligations for the first time in 20 years. An earlier IAEA report said Iran had enriched uranium to 60% purity, near weapons grade, to potentially make nine nuclear bombs. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdj9vj8glg2o

If it's true that he suffered with Epilepsy, it's possible he could've had a fit during or after his cab ride to Pattaya and bashed his head. Excessive alcohol can trigger a fit. As to why he ended up near Pattaya, maybe his two friends wouldn't leave a boring BKK nightclub and this fella was desperate for the full on Pattaya experience. An hour's journey wouldn't deter a man on that mission full of booze. In my younger days I often disappeared on nights out because I didn't want to be where my mates wanted to stay, and I couldn't be bothered to discuss it.

Yep, these wind farms and all the fields full of solar panels are destroying biodiversity - they're not environmentally friendly at all. Same as this rush to build millions of new houses to accommodate the population swell from immigration. Concreting over more countryside. The same people calling for more houses, more wind farms and more solar farms also call themselves environmentalists 🤦♂️ You couldn't make it up

Pride Month’s Original Message Lost in a Sea of Performative Gestures

Are gay war heros excluded from Remembrance Sunday etc? Maybe you think gay war heros should be celebrated separately. Bit divisive that... -
A country's leader can either appease the left (like the UK does) and accept the risk to it's citizens by allowing people in from from these trouble zones. Or they can introduce measures to reduce the risk to it's citizens, and face the wrath of the left. I would prefer my country's leader to do the latter. Unfortunately I'm from the UK.
-
I disagree. A country's leader can either appease the left (like the UK does) and accept the increased risk from some individuals from these countries. Or they can take drastic measures to reduce the risk for all of it's citizens, knowing they'll face the wrath of the left (throwing around the racist card etc.). I know which I prefer.

No, the Rwanda plan was delayed by human rights activists and lawyers, and then scrapped by Labour. It wasn't a perfect plan but it was already deterring illegal migrants even before being implemented. What is a better deterrent - the threat of being sent to Rwanda, or the 'threat' of being put up in a UK hotel? Have boat crossing increased since the Rwanda plan was scrapped?
-
Is that the law that will have failed asylum seekers transferred to a third country? These bogus asylum claimants get years of rejections and appeals before they are deemed to be failed asylum seekers. This law will not deter the boat people. To deter the boat people we need a law that would remove illegal migrants immediately. The Rwanda plan started to deter illegals entering Britain (remember how Ireland were cursing the UK because the illegals were going there instead?). Even though the Rwanda plan never got off the ground, the risk of being sent to a third country was a deterrent. Since Labour removed that deterrent we've seen record breaking numbers crossing the Channel.

Maybe it's the cumulative effect after years of seeing drunk idiots with a superiority complex look down on them, and abuse and sh@g their women. It only takes one incident to make them finally snap. I've never been attacked by Thai men, but that's because I'm respectful to the locals, even when I'm drunk. And I don't slap bar girls.

Report British Man Nabbed Smuggling Cannabis from Bangkok to Newcastle
CG1 Blue replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
So do you think this improves Thailand's reputation? A country that previously had some of the toughest drug laws is now a magnet for pot heads, and is becoming THE place to smuggle weed from. If you think that's good for a country's global image you must be smoking something. -
Report Vietnamese Sex Workers Surge in Bangkok Amid Visa Policy Concerns

The only time I went with a Viet was in SG about 10 years ago. After she left I realised she'd taken my bottle of Bvlgari aftershave from the bathroom. Lesson learnt. Good night though! -
I find it distasteful that you can sit there in the safety of your home digging up snippets from the internet to passionately back up your argument, suggesting that there's nothing to see here, and that all is well in South Africa. Are you an expert on South Africa, or are you just googling in order to have a dig at Trump? Go and live in SA for a few years, or talk to actual South Africans about what's going on under the ANC in their home country, and then report back to us. Trump made errors no doubt, but he was 100% right to raise awareness of this situation. The BBC hierarchy suffer from white guilt, so the bias is no surprise.

Disgraceful, divisive hate speech. This is a perfect example of how to keep racism alive in the UK. -
Humza Yousaf: Immigration gamble by Labour a dangerous mistake
CG1 Blue replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Scotland is hardly impacted by mass immigration because the vast majority of migrants head for London and the south east of England. This is why the Scots are generally more pro-immigration. Scotland has a tiny population for it's size, so they are more likely to encourage migration. England is (relatively) crowded. Add this to the fact Yousaf is Muslim and most illegal migrants are young Muslim males, then it's no surprise he's going to speak negatively about any push back against migration. -
"It does make a difference if the animal is trained since birth to respect and be calm, around people and other animals." Would you leave your kids/grandkids alone in a house for a week with one of these Pit Bulls that has been trained from birth to respect and be kind? "If cats were bigger, they would do a lot of damage like their cousins the leopards, lions and tigers." That's precisely the point, and is the reason why lions and tigers are not pets. Animals capable of easily killing humans (e.g. Lions, Pit Bulls etc.) should not be pets.

Crime Brutal Bloodshed in Pattaya: Briton Stabbed, Suspects Vanish
CG1 Blue replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
When Thailand legalised weed shops it became a magnet to the world's undesirables. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with smoking a joint. It's about the impression it gives the outside world. There will be more drugs and fighting stories, because more druggies and trouble makers are now choosing Thailand.
