I wonder why they stopped the double entry tourist visas, they were great, would be great if they brought them back. Good old days.

Yes covid extensions are still available..

(1)When changing from old to new passport can this be done at any Immigration office or only at the one in the area where you have an address ? (2)Is the embassy letter needed if you arrived here visa exempt instead of a visa?My embassy said as I arrived on a visa exempt and have been on extensions ever since they are not sure if the letter is needed.

Yep, the process of getting covid extensions at Jomtien seems to have changed again. Last time it was 3 trips to immigration, this time around it seems like its going to be 4 trips..Tommorow you won't need to go into the building, there will be a table outside at the gate, just hand your ticket and collect your passport.easy.
