  1. I've seen them say Vietnam will open, but they haven't said anything about no restrictions..people are jumping the gun thinking Vietnam is dropping all restrictions.you will still most likely need covid insurance and will be tested for covid on arrival .
  2. Thank u for all your help and information you have given to people on covid extensions, much appreciated. With land borders closed it can cause people some serious stress. Big respect for u.
  3. You should do it as soon as possible, today at Jomtien anyone applying for covid extensions was given a que number and told to come back tomorrow. So maybe tommorow is really the last day.
  4. Really?? So how do u feel about people on retirement visas not meeting the financial requirements and using an agent to help them??? That seems to be ok,never any hate thrown at them. But hey anyone on covid extensions is playing the system...
  5. The officer told you it would be your last one but he also said wait for the announcement?
  6. I agree, I've read the comments on the Vietnam visa forums and there is some horrible people taking great pleasure in other people's difficulties.
  7. Little bit of a difference, in Vietnam they were free extensions where as here people are paying for extensions, and in Vietnam there is at least one land border opening allowing travel into Cambodia.
  8. My bad if I read it wrong, I just took another read of it and on the website it says all types of extensions can be applied for no sooner than 45 days in advance.
  9. You can pop into the little visa office at the side of Jomtien immigration, very friendly staff they can help you with any questions you may have.
  10. I'm talking about covid extensions, jomtien did have a sign up saying extensions could be applied for up to 30 days before.i applied 28 days before my extension was due to finish no problem at all. Bangkok immigration did have it on their website about 45days, my friend goes 30 days early each time no problem except this time was told it will be his last extension by whatever lady he was dealing with at MTT.
  11. In bangkok it was 45days not sure if that has changed. Jomtien immigration 30 days. No idea where you are so maybe that information is not much use to you.
  12. Why do u keep saying their locking everybody up? Mandatory quarantine is no longer been enforced. Home isolation is the new Go for people who with no symptoms or mild.Things are completely different here this time round,no lockdowns, no curfews.
  13. I wonder why some immigration give underconsderation stamps while others give one 60 day stamp..its nearly one full passport page every time you apply for an extension .
  14. I miss them visa run days, good times were had.cant actually see them coming back .
