  1. I have not accused you of making anything up. The "evidence" was not full of lies, the data and method we sound. The articles written by "journalists" were full of lies. That's what I thought I have read and understood enough to know that most of what is written for the public is nonsense. Mechanical, I worked in mostly manufacturing, still do a bit of consulting. My sister is civil, she worked in water resources, distribution at first and later wastewater treatment. She just retired this year, My dad was electrical.
  2. Saw "Hellhound" Hellhound (2024) - IMDb action/crime/thriller. I think this is a Thai movie made for export. It was mostly in English, but takes place mostly in Thailand which made it kind of fun. That said, the acting was mostly terrible and the story lame. 4/10
  3. Saw "The Exorcism" https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11240348/ Horror/Fantasy with Russell Crowe, who I generally like. I thought it was pretty good for what it was, if a bit silly at times. Could have been longer and explained more. 5/10
  4. My Asus had a charging issue that turned out to be the motherboard. It took a couple weeks to get the board because I bought the laptop in the US and it was not supported in Thailand. Did you buy it in Thailand?
  5. Of course. How? Yet here you are. Wikipedia? I do not remember the study, it came out (I think) over ten years ago and the 93% was quoted for years. Do you have one more recent? I know of people that think otherwise, but I don't know anyone. Of course. Long on rhetoric, short on data. When I said: "I don't accept anything I am unable to review", your response was: "...- well, in that case you've got a bit of reading to do. Probably enough for the rest of your life if you spend 16 hours a day at it." Does that not imply that one should take studies at face value? I am an engineer.
  6. Video evidence is not admissible when leftist protestors are involved.
  7. How much have they risen on average?
  8. There is a nice Asus repair center in Lat Krabang, I had a laptop repaired there, great service, a bit on the pricy side as I remember.
  9. Someone claimed earlier in the thread that "...in central Bangkok you can find a nice 2 bedroom place for 30,000 baht per month." which was what I was responding to. I think we agree. I'm not in another province, I rent the apartment for my boy that goes to school in Salaya. We rented a two bedroom for when we visit.
  10. It's the laptop that's broken. He also wants to sue for lost revenue.
  11. My wife liked it too...
  12. I really like these, and they're great cold. Spicy is better...
  13. I think it's hilarious, Trump is like the Roadrunner...
  14. Ah yes, convicted of recoding payment for a non disclosure agreement as a legal expense... You guys crack me up
  15. Frozen french-fries, B70/kg Pork loin, B130/kg Onions, B35/Kg Tomatoes, B80/kg Bag of lettuce, B/60
  16. Do you have air-conditioning? Do you enjoy air travel? Do you own a car or motorcycle? Do you have electricity and indoor plumbing? Do you buy groceries or eat at restaurants? If so, you are part of the problem, and while advocating others reduce their standard of living to address the problem may make you feel better, it is not helping anything.
  17. Why is that difficult? I think it a bit condescending to a assume the "average person" does not know the difference between training and understanding. So you take on faith what you read, that makes sense. Yes, I read the study, did you? That's how I know it's a lie, and the people that continue to regurgitate it are liars. I do not know anyone that believes otherwise. The left just has to attack everyone that disagrees with their policies as deniers and whatnot. What data shows "...very clearly that catastrophic global warming is occurring and at a faster rate than that originally feared." Yet you would take an article you read at face value.
  18. So as always, you don't know do you? Did you even understand the question?
  19. Triggered you? That's hilarious. You only asked the question so you could jump in with your answer. How many hundred times has the legality of Airbnb come up on this site anyway? Anyone been arrested yet? And what risk is there to the renter anyway?
  20. If you already knew, why did you ask? In any event, this thread is about monthly rentals, so like I said, yes, it is legal.
  21. Maybe they knew it was you....
