  1. Saw "Argylle" last night, and it was entertaining, but disappointing. It was a good plot and with decent writers it could have been a great spy action thriller, or a great comedy, but trying to do both kind of ruined it. I guess when you throw in a few laughs you do not need to worry about plot holes, and when you shoot a few people you don't need to worry about being funny.
  2. But you think they should continue holding hostages, nice.
  3. You go lefty! So, if I bought TSLA at about $20 five years ago and it's only about $200 today I'm mad because he supports free speech, and you don't?
  4. Toughest sanctions in history, all reversed by Biden. Fortunatly, Solamani's still dead.
  5. What has Musk done to harm shareholders?
  6. I was talking about me, but it would also apply to anyone in a similar situation. So a Steve Jobs type? How many people do you think should be in charge of a typical enterprise? Lead by committee? Nice!
  7. Sounds like he wants to break his lease. Why not tell the landlord you have to move and ask them?
  8. Anyone thinking it inappropriate to hire your lover and pay him eight over $800K in a year is a racist.
  9. Well, typically you can't see their faces because the windows are tinted and they do not have to get out of the vehicle to fuel.
  10. That was not clear to me. How is buying a Tesla riskier than buying an MG or a BYD? I said it did not make sense for me. Again, if self driving cars will work anywhere, they will work anywhere. The biggest hurtle I see is liability, not technology. With the exception of refrigerated seats, none of those interest me. Did you mean refrigerated or ventilated?
  11. Many/most on that list are brands, not manufacturers.
  12. Compared to what? In any even, looks are subjective. I like Elon now, when he was the darling of the left not so much. Yeah, well it's like buying shirts. A shirt you like is worth more than one you don't. I spent over twenty years doing analysis for cost justification of capital expenditures, the only reason for me to buy an EV is because I want one. Financially it silly. If self-driving cars will work anywhere, they will work anywhere. Thinking they will work in the US or the UK is silly. What missing bits? You said three issues, but they all seem to boil down to price, so it's only really one issue.
  13. As I understand it, EVs require no service and the batteries las twenty years so I would not be too worried. If I were going to buy an EV today, it would be a Tesla because I like the way they look.
  14. I'm guessing to not get old is worse.
  15. An open top box or one that opens and closes? A box that small that opens and closes with hinges will be tough. Open top box any of the little gate and fence shops can do it. There is one across from the new HomePro in Lat Krabang that did a few things for me. Make a drawing and a cardboard model of exactly what you want and take it with you. What is your budget? If a few hundred baht, don't waste any time looking.
  16. Well, that's encouraging...
  17. Chinese woman with blurred visions goes to an ophthalmologist to have her eyes checked. After examining her, the doctor says: "you have cataracts.". The woman says: "No have cataract, have rinkon continental.
  18. I believe the only reason the law was passed was to get Trump. Just look at who pushed it. Didn't they also change the law to try to get his state tax returns as well?
  19. The mandates will stop that sh*t.
  20. Really? From your writing it seems you already know everything you ever will.
  21. Yeah, the left loved him until they didn't.
