  1. For example? Maybe a UN resolution, some pride flags and a George Floyd mural?
  2. Anyone that knows the history of the region knows that.
  3. And some people as they get old just don't want to do much. My mom was that way after my dad died. I/we used to try to get her to spend more, but she was happy living like she did. I told he when she died, I was going to buy a new Corvette. Her eyes lit up and she asked: Red? "Happiness is not getting what you want, it's wanting what you have."
  4. Or you could just admit that the Gulf states all know better than to offer asylum to terrorists.
  5. He also left out the part about Biden claiming there was not a vaccine until after he took office. That was a whopper....
  6. Go with God Brother.
  7. What's orange, has four wheels and sleeps six? CalTrans truck....
  8. Oh yeah, like when Motel 6 was six dollars a night and you just looked for one with the vacancy sign on... I did that a lot back when I was a carnie, I could just pack my pockets and go.
  9. People afford what they want. After you have a child, everything else is just stuff. I feel sorry for narrow-minded people like you, and that you want to lock up the people you disagree with does not surprise me. Yeah, I love pigeons, but I don't feed them, we hunt them with pellet rifles. The boys love it. Now go update your feed or whatever with pictures of your breakfast or whatnot.
  10. You should call them. It might be something you have to have them turn on.
  11. The United 787 service was pretty good. I do not see prices coming down any time soon.
  12. I already do. And I'll volunteer to assist in culling the herd if it's made up of people like you. Weirdo indeed.
  13. Not that typical. Does that surprise you?
  14. Right. What did you do, drag your bags from the airport and walk door to door? It's hard to imagine a situation where I would walk into a hotel and attempt to book a room. When I was single maybe....
  15. I'm sorry. I thought/think in the context of the thread it was clear. Calling for ceasefires, accusing the IDF of indiscriminately bombing civilians, making excuses for the 10/7 atrocities and drawing a moral equivalence between Hamas and the IDF is not well intended criticism.
  16. I have not been to Phuket for years, but Pattaya (I cannot speak to the sex trade) seems nicer than ever to me.
  17. Everyone is ignorant about most things. So better to stay home and be ignorant? That makes no sense. You probably don't travel much because you like staying home. Nothing wrong with that, it's my favorite place to go.
  18. Everyone scouring the internet for the lowest possible room-rates or whatnot and then moaning about the poor service. Book direct with the hotel. They answer the phone and are generally helpful.
  19. What you said was: " Loved Phuket when I went there about 25 years ago. Really loved Pattaya, esp. the great attitude of the girls back then, first time I went there 23 years ago." Now why might the attitude of the girls be better when you were younger?
