Electric Vehicles in Thailand
Same model vehicle one with a 3L petrol and the other a 3L diesel, yes. But not a big fuel-hog like a 'tuna compared a little car. The petrol MG ZS apparently gets (per carguide.com) 14.1-14.9km per liter. So, using your 35 per liter for petrol and 14.5km per liter, the cost of petrol to drive 180,000km would be 434,483, about 15% less that what it would cost to drive the 'tuna. Per the MG website, it looks like the base ZSEV is 949K and the base ZS petrol is 689K Using the numbers above, you'd only start saving money driving the ZSEV vs the ZS petrol after driving 107,714km. All of the savings discussed assumes the driver pays nothing for electricity, which is not likely. In the six and a half years I've been driving the Fortuner, I've averaged 1,091km per month. Assuming my driving habits were similar, it would take over eight years to justify the extra cost of the ZSEV vs the ZS petrol. Again, all this assumes I can get all the electricity I want for free. I think people that want EVs should buy them, but unless they are driving over 10,000km a month, anyone thinking they are going to save significant money buying an EV is going to be sadly disappointed, unless of course they don't actually run the numbers. As long as they don't run the numbers, they can believe whatever they like. I might buy an EV the auto show in April, certainly going to have a look.

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
Fuel cost to drive 180,000km in my gen-2 Fortuner would *cost 501,226 Baht. What does a new MG ZS EV cost? *Based on long term average milage of 10.77 km per liter of B7 at 29.99 per liter. If you can only drive one or the other, wouldn't it take twice as long to save enough fuel to pay for both?

Do you believe in insurance?
Sounds good, but increasing the minimum liability increases the price, which reduces the number of poor people who buy it, which drives the price up further. I think this would likely exasperate the problem. The problem is that people with no significant assets understand liability insurance to be a waste of their money. "You can't get blood from a turnip." It's more and more the same in the US.

I don't doubt that.

This should be hilarious....

Genocide is not too strong a word, it is simply the wrong word. You could call it mass murder, but then you would have to concede the Biden Administration is condoning and supporting mass murder. I'm not a fan of President Biden, but I do not think he condones mass murder. Except maybe for the Evil MAGA insurrectionists....

Israel losing global support over Gaza bombing, Biden says
You seem to have no idea what it means now, why would anyone think you would be surprised by what it means in years to come?

Everyone that dies is an "Estate". What percentage of the people that die have significant wealth to leave?

Do you believe in insurance?
That they are very profitable does not make them a scam, and there are different types of policies. Life insurance is not for old people, it's for young people, with young families that would suffer significant financial hardship upon the death of the primary breadwinner. It's not an investment that is supposed to appreciate.

Do you believe in insurance?
Insurance companies make their money collecting premiums, not paying out claims. That said, while I have had to resubmit a few claims with some clarification, I do not think I've ever had a claim for repayment refused. If they did not generally pay out, no one would buy insurance. If they paid every claim, legitimate or otherwise they would go broke.

Do you believe in insurance?
No matter how much you pay, or how carefully you read the policy, you're still going to die. It should be called survivor insurance.

Israel losing global support over Gaza bombing, Biden says
Not true. The rich, virtue-signaling leftist elites that never have to suffer the consequences of their ideology love them, and that's all that matters. And they'll make sure everyone knows that they are oppressed, and that only their racist colonialist oppressors don't love them, and that all cultures are equivalent and good except western culture which is racist, colonialist, greedy capitalist, white supremacist sh*t that must be torn down.

Israel losing global support over Gaza bombing, Biden says
That's what you linked to when asked what Israel should be doing differently. You really have no idea what Israel should do differently, and then post a link to some that virtue signaling pablum about how they should just be a little more careful. As always, you have nothing. Do you remember who it was? In any event, I do not remember them being taken to task for it, and thing it was loudly applauded. Believing people like General Austin, Kamala Harris, Clauding Gay or even President Obama would have gotten where they did without being black or at least semi-black is not racist. Thank you.

Thailand wants to see far more US and Canadian tourists as long-haul visitors spend twice as much
I assume, the idea of the promotion is to get tourists in during the low season. Why have a happy-hour from 22:00 to 23:00? A I like Songkran. Light traffic, everything is cheap, people laughing and having fun everywhere. I guess the only big negative is all the attractive young girls in wet clothes trying to get you to play with them, huh? I really miss having a pickup to drive around with a bed full of kids and a drum of water.

Israel losing global support over Gaza bombing, Biden says
Yeah, him. Did you even read it? His comments to Israel were pretty much continue as you are, but be more careful, yes? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Isn't he the one claiming white supremacists are the biggest threat to US national security? Apparently, with you, anti-semitism good.
